- A case under Burglary has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On the intervening night of 14-15/02/2007 some unknown culprits gained entry into the Shri Uma Maheshwari Temple at Balya village Puttur Taluk by removing roof tiles and committed theft of ‘Kanike Hundi’ and other brass articles all in worth Rs. 7,000/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 15/02/2007 at 1045 hrs at Gurpura Town Mulur village Mangalore Taluk one Ganesh Prabhu driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-9911 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Ganesh Rao (54) R/o NITK. Campus Srinivasnagar Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. Further he succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 15/02/2007 at 1800 hrs on NH-13 at Amanottu cross Padumarnadu village one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-3307 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Bicycle. As a result bicycle rider one Sanobar Sulthan D/o Maqbur Ahammed R/o Padumarnadu village sustained grievous injuries.

- A case under Criminal breach of trust along with Cheating has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station on the complaint of one Maheshchandra (53) Manager, Gokarnanatha Bank Kudroli Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Rathnakara R/o Bajai Mangalore and Krishan R/o Paneyala Kasaragod Kerala State took a loan of Rs. 16,500/ from the Bank and cheated the bank by not making the payment.
- A case under Criminal breach of trust, Cheating along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station on the complaint of one Agnel Mariya Vegas R/o Kottara Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that accused one Sarina Hogard Mangalore took Agnel Mariya to Maldieves by promising a job of Physiotherapy Trainer at Maldives and committed criminal breach of trust to Agnel Mariya by not providing the said job and she also gave life threat to her.

S Rao Road Mangalore accused Lokesh and another person abused one Shankara Rao H. (48) R/o Kodikal Mangalore security guard of the arcade in filthy language and also assaulted him by hand when he refused to allow the accused to park their motor cycle infront of the arcade.
- A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 15/02/2007 at 1200 hrs at Nehru Maidan Mangalore accused one Aslam D.M abused one Haneef R/o Malapuram village Kerala State in filthy language and assaulted him with wooden stick and also gave life threat to him owing to financial dispute.

- A case under Girl missing has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 14/02/2207 at 0930 hrs one Deepika (17) D/o Raju Shetty R/o Ontikatte Marpadi village went to Alvas PU Collage at Moodabidre and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
