- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 10/02/2007 at 2100 hrs at Daddalpalike Kowkradi village one Umesh driver of Tata Sumo bearing Reg. No. KA-04-Z-2314 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. CTA-7824. As a result motorcycle rider Mathew (32) R/o Kalamaja village Belthangady Taluk sustained simple injuries. Further Tata Sumo driver lost control over his vehicle and dashed against one Jose (51) a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. He was admitted to A.J. Hospital Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on the same day.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 10/02/2007 at 1700 hrs at Karinja cross Vogga Kavalapadur village one Vincent rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Q-9469 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Vishwanatha (20) R/o Kavalapadur village Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. Further he was admitted to Fr. Muller hospital Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on 12/02/2007 at 1000 hrs.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 11/02/2007 at 1330 hrs at Bejai Mangalore one rider of Tata Indica car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-ME-0027 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-2583. As a result auto rickshaw driver one Haris S. (35) R/o Subhashnagar Mangalore sustained simple injuries and the auto rickshaw got damaged.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 11/02/2007 at 0830 hrs near Kalleri Quarters Thanirupantha village Belthangady Taluk when Razak (20) R/o Thanirupantha village Belthangady Taluk a passenger of an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-A-2099 fell down from the auto rickshaw and sustained grievous injuries while getting down as the driver of the auto rickshaw one Ashraf moved the auto rickshaw in a negligent manner.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 11/02/2007 at 2030 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 40 yrs was found near KSRTC bus stand at Bejai Mangalore. The death seems to be due to excessive drinking.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On the evening of 10/02/2007 one Kalandhar Shafique (18) R/o Addur Mangalore accidentally slipped into Falguni river at Kodibettu Gurupura Mangalore Taluk while he was taking bath and died due drowning.
