  • A case of Burglary has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station where in on the intervening night of 17/18-07-06 some unknown persons entered the Anganavadi located at Badagundi Navoor Village by break opening the door lock and committed theft of property worth Rs. 800/.

  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 18-07-2006 at 1615 hrs one Ganapathi, the driver of the Petrol Tanker KA-01-B-6176 parked his vehicle near Cargo Gate, Pavana Complex, Bala Village, Mangalore Taluk. However he forgot to switch off the engine. As a result the tanker moved ahead accidentally and rammed into a Tata Sumo, a Motocycle & a shop and caused damages to the tune of Rs.1,25,000/.

  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 18-07-2006 at 1300 hrs near RTO Check Post on NH-17 at Talapady Village, one Sadashiva drove his motorcyle No. KA-19-S-3521 in rash and negligent manner and dashed to one Kum. Marimath Safvana (10) a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries.

  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 18-07-2006 at 1340 hrs near I.B.P. Petrol Pump, Mangalore, the driver of an auto rickshaw drove the vehicle in rash and negligent manner and hit a bus coming from the other direction. As a result one Rafiq passenger of the bus sustained grievous injuries on his hand.

  • A case of Rioting has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 18-07-2006 at 0530 hrs near Thumbya Junction Bantwal, some 7-8 unknown persons forming into an unlawful assembly stopped the Lorry KA-20-A-816 and dragged out the inmates Ashraf and Umar and assaulted them with sticks and caused injuries. Suspicion of illegal cattle transport by the victims is the motive for the offence.

  • A case of Hurt has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 13-07-2006 at 1930 hrs near Kadumane Noojibalthila Village, while a meeting of Navodaya Swayam Sangh was in progress, one P.V.John assaulted Smt.Baby with a torch and also abused her in filthy language. The incident happened when Smt.Baby asked for some loan.

  • A case of Hurt has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 16-07-2006 at 1630 hrs near Sarve Village Puttur taluk accused Ramakrishna Rai and Abishek entered the paddy field of complainant Srinivasa Rai and assaulted him and his brother Vishwanath with sticks and caused them injuries. Land dispute is the motive for this offence.

  • A case of Hurt has been registered in Barke Police Station. The alleged incident has occured in a rented house in front of Little School Urva Church Mangalore where in one Raveesh was staying with another Drivil R Patel. On 17-07-2006 at 2330 hrs while they were watching TV dispute started regarding TV channels and Raveesh assaulted Drivil R Patel with a knife and caused greivous injuries to him.

  • A case of mischief & Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 18-07-2006 at 2115 hrs near Talembila, Ajmadi Village, accused Chandrahas Chowta, Sharath Shetty, Keshava Jogi, Jayanath Jogi gathered unlawfully and came to the house Padma Moolya and assaulted and threatened his life. Financial dispute is the motive for the offence.

  • A case under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 18-07-2006 at 0615 hrs near Thumbya Junction Bantwal, accused Ashraf, Usman, Umar, and Hariz were caught while carrying 14 Animals (cow, calf, Buffalo) illegally in a goods tempo No. KA-20-A-816 without any documents or permit.

  • A case of Missing Person has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station in connection with the missing of one Gopalakrishna 55 yrs R/o Padubidri Udupi district from Wenlock hospital Mangalore where he was admitted for treatment of Kidney Failure. The incident has occurred on 17-07-2006 at 1230 hrs.
