Gambling Raid By Mangalore South PS: 06 Arretsed And Rs.1325/ Seized

What: Police raid on a house on credible information of illegal gambling activity called ANDER- BAHAR (Ulai-Pidai)

When: Evening of Sunday July 02nd 2006 between 1700 hrs and 1800 hrs

Where: A house located at Jeppu Kudappadi belonging to Wilfred D'Souza coming under Mangalore South PS

Who: Police team comprising of PI South PS Mr.Venkatesh Prasanna and staff

Why: To curb illegal and anti social activities in the district

More Details: Police arrested total 06 persons and seized Rs 1,325/cash used for betting and other articles.

In this connection a case has been taken up in the jurisdictional Mangalore South Police Station under section 78, 79 & 80 of Karnataka Police Act 1963. All the arrested persons have been released on bail and the case is under investigation.
