Stolen Motor Cycles Recovered : Two held By DCIB

The District Crime Intelligence Bureau (DCIB) has nabbed two persons and recovered three stolen motorcycles from them. These vehicles were stolen by the culprits from different parts of the city in the last one week. The accused were picked up by Mr.Thilakchandra PI DCIB & other sleuths of DCIB on the morning of 11/07/06 at Mahakalipadpu on NH17 while they were coming from Ullal towards Mangalore on a stolen motorcycle. Upon interrogation they admitted to have committed theft of total three motorcycles details of which are as under:
  1. Yamaha M/C stolen from Falnir on 05/07/06 about which case has been registered at Mangalore South PS.

  2. Suzuki Samurai M/c stolen from Omega Hospital parking on 06/07/06 about which case is registered at Mangalore East PS.

  3. Yamaha M/C stolen from Saibeen Complex on 07/07/06 about which case is registered at Barke PS.
The total value of these stolen vehicles is Rs 93,000/

The names of the accused are as under.

  1. Mohammed Arif 21yrs R/o Bajal, Mangalore City.

  2. Manoj 29yrs R/o Bajal, Mangalore.
They have been produced before the Court and remanded for Judicial Custody.
