- A case of Hit and Run Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 22/07/2006 at 1000 hrs at M.R. Bhat lane 4th Cross Morgans gate Mangalore, one unknown Scooter rider drove the vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed Meharunnisa (04 ) a pedestrian and caused grievous injuries. Further the scooter rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 22/07/2006 at 1730 hrs near Railway Bridge Harady Puttur Kasaba Village, one Janardhana Gowda the driver of Mahindra jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-12-A-7860 while manoeuvring dashed against the Motorcycle No. KA-21-E-2818 of Satish Achari (24). As result Satish Achari sustained simple injuries.

- A case of Affray has been registered in Ualla Police Station. On 22/7/2006 at 2015 hrs accused Roshan, Ranjith and Leo D’souza picked up quarrel and started fighting over trivial issue in a public bus stand near Ullala over bridge. The police arrested the accused and took up a case under affray (sec 160 IPC).
