  • A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 01/05/2007 at 0800 hrs one Mahesha committed theft of Sprinklers that were kept inside the Pump house at Berya Kutkunja village Sullia Taluk belonging to one Vijaya Kumar B.K. (33). The stolen property is worth Rs. 6,000/.

  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 03/05/2007 at 1500 hrs on NH 48 at Valalu Bajathur village one Mohan driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. AP-02-9447 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Maxi Cab Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-21-3358. As a result Mohan driver of Lorry, driver of Tempo and some passengers who were traveling in the said Tempo sustained simple injuries and both the vehicles got damaged.

Cheating/ Criminal Breach of Trust: 02

  • A case under Cheating along with Criminal breach of Trust has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station on the complaint of one Venkatarya Prabhu R/o Ganapathi Temple Road Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Janaki with the support of Rajashri took a loan of Rs. 1,00,000/ from one Venkatraya Prabhu and cheated him by giving the forged documents.
  • A case under Cheating along with Criminal breach of Trust has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station on the complaint of one Prasad Rao (55) R/o Mannagudde Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Laalin @ Sagayaraj Chettiyar, Sajid Ahammed and Abeed told Prasad Rao that their Institution Magnet Computer Center Myjas computer Technologies at Sanu Palace Mangalore issued free package for foreign tour and a computer course for him and took a cash Rs. 29,700 from him. After receiving the money they committed criminal breach of trust to him by not offering the free package tour and cheated him by not returning the money.

Unnatural Death Report: 03

  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 02/05/2007 at 1300 hrs one Nagesh (30) R/o Palappady Pudu village Bantwal Taluk was suffering from stomach pain and was admitted at private hospital at Mangalore. As his condition deteriorated, he was being shifted for further treatment to Wenlcok hospital at Mangalore. He however breathed his last enroute.
  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mulki Police Station. one Krishna (30) who was working in the house belonging to one Sadashiva Salian (57) R/o Karnadu village Mangalore Taluk was died in between 2/05/2007 at 2300 hrs and 03/04/2007 at 0700 hrs. The death seems to be due some illness.
  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On the night of 02-03/05/2007 one Vittala (40) R/o Kerekadu Kilpadi village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to financial problem.
