On the night of 11/05/2007 some unknown culprits gained entry into the shop at Super Junction Vittal Bantwal Taluk belonging to one Ismail R/o Panemangalore village Bantwal Taluk by breaking the back door and committed theft of Dress materials, Clocks and other articles all in worth Rs. 10, 000/.
- A case under Burglary has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On the night of 11/05/2007 some unknown culprits gained entry into the shop at Ukkuda Vittal Town Bantwal Taluk belonging to one Monappa R/o Votthesar Vittal Town by breaking the front door and committed theft of BSNL coin telephone box. The stolen property is worth Rs. 3,600/.

- A case under House trespass, Outraging the modesty of woman, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 12/05/2007 at 1700 hrs accused Chandrashekara and Mohana criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Vijayalakshmai (44) R/o Belthangady Taluk and abused her in filthy language and tried to outrage her modesty by pulling her hand and assaulted her with sickle and also gave life threat to her. Motive seems to be civil dispute between them.
- A case under Kidnapping with intent secretly and wrongfully to confine person, Outraging the modesty of woman along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 07/05/2007 at 1500 hrs at bus stand at Uppinangady Puttur Taluk while one lady (30) R/o Uppinangady Puttur was on her way home accused one Moosa @ Kharkane Moosa kidnapped her in his car and wrongfully confined her in a room and outraged her modesty. Further he also gave life threat to her.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 11/05/2007 at 2130 hrs at Seegethadi Kabaka village Puttur Taluk one unknown driver of Jeep bearing Reg. No KA-31-1162 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-J-1449. As a result one Dharnappa Gowda (22) R/o Kabaka village Puttur Taluk rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries. The driver of Jeep escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 11/05/2007 at 1630 hrs at Pedumale Amtady village Bantwal Taluk one Sandeep Kamath driver of Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-05-N-2983 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-3465. As a result one Padmanabha P. K. (54) R/o Bantwal Town Bantwal Taluk rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 13/05/2007 at 0030 hrs Madyangala Ariyadka village Puttur Taluk one Ramayya driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-3390 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which vehicle capsized. As a result Ganga Nayak H.S. R/o Harave village Hunasoor village, Areef and Saklain who were traveling in the said bus sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 12/05/2007 at 2110 hrs at Halekote Belthangady Taluk one Abdul Samad rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. CTX-3946 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an electric pole. As a result motorcycle rider one Abdul Samad sustained grievous injuries.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 12/05/2007 at 1700 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 35-40 yrs was found in side the Bus stand at Baikampady Mangalore. The death seems to be due to some illness.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. In between 11/05/2007 at 0830 hrs and 12/05/2007 at 0900 hrs one Balakrishna (37) R/o Ubaradka Mithur village Sullia Taluk committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to personal problem.

- A case of Girl missing has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. One Shashikala (28) R/o Sesarabettu Kariyangala village Bantwal Taluk left her house on 04/05/2007 at 0800 hrs and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
