On 06/05/2007 in between 1230 hrs and 1830 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Mohana (45) R/o Ganjimatta Badagulipady village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the front door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments and cash Rs. 5,000/ all in worth Rs. 18,000/.
- A case under Burglary has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 06/05/2007 in between 1140 hrs and 2000 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Muralidhara S. (35) R/o Gantalkatte Kallabettu village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the front door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments and cash Rs. 3,500/ all in worth Rs. 1,00,000/.

- A case under Cheating has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station where in it is alleged that one Shankara had sexual intimacy with a Twenty six year old girl of Irde village Puttur Taluk by promising to marry her. There upon he cheated her by refusing to marry her with the support of Korappolu, Kutti and Somashekara.
- A case under House trespass along with Hurt has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 07/05/2007 at 0300 hrs accused Shekara Poojary criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Kamala (30) R/o Gandhi Nagar Quarters Kidial village Puttur Taluk and assaulted her with sickle. The motive seems to be that Kamala had earlier lodged a complaint against him in Puttur Town PS.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 06/12/2007 at 1745 hrs at Urwa junction Mangalore one Abdul Rahman K. driver of Maruti Alto car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-7919 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed one John T. (60) R/o Ashokanagara Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. Further he was admitted to hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on 07/05/2007 at 1100 hrs.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 06/05/2007 at 1230 hrs near Shaneeshwara Temple Bajpe village Mangalore Taluk one Roshan driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-9367 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-K-2867. As a result motorcycle rider Ramesh Anchan and pillion rider Harishchandra sustained grievous injuries and both died on the spot.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 06/05/2007 at 1500 hrs at Rama Nagara Bantwal Town one Manjunatha driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-21-B-9367 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-802. As a result motorcycle rider Harishchandra and pillion rider Dinakara sustained grievous injuries. Further Dinakara succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

No KA-44-1266 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against Scorpio car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-6476. As a result Bharath Shetty (35) R/o Surathkal Mangalore Taluk driver of said Scorpio car, Sarojini Shetty, Sangeetha Shetty, Jayashree Shetty and Divyashree who were traveling in the said Scorpio car sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 27/04/2007 at 1500 hrs on NH 13 at Handelu cross Mangalore Taluk one Kamalaksha Nayak R/o Alape village Mangalore passenger of a bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-6775 while getting down from the bus, the driver of bus one Guruprasad moved the bus in a negligent manner due which he fell down from the bus and sustained grievous injuries.

On 06/05/2007 at 1500 hrs at Baruva Amlamorau village Mangalore Taluk one Patrick Cutinha driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-2969 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Patrick Cutinha driver of auto rickshaw and Lancy D’Souza (30) R/o Harekala village Mangalore Taluk who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 06/05/2007 at 1830 hrs at Koikude cross Kemral village Mangalore Taluk one driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-5951 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Sheik Nasiruddin (38) a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. Further auto rickshaw driver lost control over his vehicle and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AB-4159 that was parked at roadside. As a result both vehicles got damaged.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 06/05/2007 at 1630 hrs at Shantinagara Nidle village Belthangady Taluk one Murugan driver of bus bearing Reg. No. TN-21-AC-333 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-20-J-9052. As a result one Rajesh Mendoza (29) R/o Belman Karkala driver of said Maruti car sustained simple injuries and the Maruti car also got damaged.

On 06/05/2007 at 1130 hrs on NH 48 at Neerakatte Bajathuru village Puttur Taluk one Venkataramana driver of Jeep bearing Reg. No. CNX-1976 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Maruti omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-17-M-1846. As a result Damodhara Shetty (49) R/o Kowkardy village Puttur Taluk driver of said Maruti omni car sustained simple injuries.

On 05/05/2007 at 0015 hrs at Vajjinadka Kallige village Bantwal Taluk one Yashwantha driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-7431 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost over his vehicle due which the auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Yashawantha driver of auto rickshaw and Harish Kumar M. (16) R/o Maroli Kulashekara Mangalore who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

On 05/05/2007 at 1345 hrs at Siddakatte Sangabettu village Bantwal Taluk one Mohammed Rafiq driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-2329 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an Indica car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-9988. As a result driver of said car one Laveena Lobo (35) R/o Arala village Bantwal Taluk and her mother Anees Lobo who was traveling in the said car sustained simple injuries.

On 06/05/2007 at 1500 hrs at Jainapete Kuvettu village Belthangady Taluk one Mahaboob Jaan driver of Eicher Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-21-P-9509 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against Maruti omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-M-1731. Further lorry driver lost control over his vehicle due which vehicle capsized. As a result Savithri (48) R/o Kuvettu village Belthangady Taluk driver of car and Mahaboob Jaan driver of Eicher lorry sustained simple injuries.

He also assaulted his brother Ganesh with sickle who came to help Seetharama and gave life threat to them owing to civil dispute.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 06/05/2007 at 0930 hrs at Lakkapakodi Mani village one Jinnappa Poojary (54) R/o Peramogru village Puttur Taluk accidentally fell down from the coconut tree near his house while removing coconuts and got seriously injured and died on the spot.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Venoor Police Station. In between 05/05/2007 at 2030 hrs and 06/05/2007 at 0700 hrs one Dharnappa (35) R/o Tharipadpu Gunduri village Belthangady Taluk committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to personal problem.

- A case of Man missing has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 29/04/2007 at 1630 hrs one Piyus Fernandez (58) R/o Ullal Hoige Ullal village Mangalore Taluk went to fishing at Mogaveerapatna Mangalore Taluk and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
