- A case under Burglary has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 16/05/2007 at 2130 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the Shri Bhramarambhika Temple at Matadakani Bolur Mangalore by breaking the door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments, silver articles and Kanike Hundi. Worth of stolen properties yet to be estimated.
- A case under Burglary has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On the night of 17-18/05/2007 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Pakruddin B.K. (47) R/o Near Addoor School Adduru village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments and other articles all in worth Rs. 24,000/.

- A case of Servent theft has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 17/05/2007 at 0500 hrs Mahesh S. (19) and Ananda Gowda (21) both residences of Savanoor Taluk Haveri district who were working in side the KISCO Factory committed theft of Pig Iron pieces (70 Kgs) worth Rs. 1,500/ and were caught with property by the Security Staff of KISCO Factory Panambur and handed over to Panambur Police Station along with complaint.

- A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 16/05/2007 at 1715 hrs one Ananthashayana abused one Neelamma (70) R/o Mentekaje Kalmaru village Sullia Taluk in filthy language near her house and assaulted her by hand and also gave life threat to her owing to trivial issue.
- A case under Cruelty by Husband along with Criminal intimidaton has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station on the complaint of one Sharada K.B. (47) R/o Adahalla Shishila village Belthangady Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Somaraj B. (husband) gave physical and mental harassment to one Shrarda and also gave life threat to her.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 18/05/2007 at 0800 hrs on NH 48 at Padil Alape village Mangalore Taluk one Mohammed Iqbal driver of Tata Sumo bearing Reg. No. KL-14-E-1774 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Janaki (65) a pedestrian due which she sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 15/05/2007 at 2245 hrs on NH 48 at Ponnodi Bantwal Town one Nithyananda driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-01-F-7974 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Hydar (60) a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. Further he was admitted to hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on 17/05/2007 at 2250 hrs.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 17/05/2007 at 1330 hrs one unknown driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-6537 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. MH-09-AT-8000 and a Scorpio car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-9872 that was parked near Capital Building Kadri Mangalore. As a result both cars got damaged. The bus driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 16/05/2007 at 2220 hrs on NH 17 near Kottara Chowki Mangalore Taluk one unknown rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-4490 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Sundar Bhale R/o Kottara Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 16/05/2007 at 0620 hrs near Konkan Railway Gate at Kodikere Baikampady Mangalore one Prakash driver of Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-9453 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle and dashed aganist a tree at roadside. As a result Jayarama (32) R/o Manjeshwara Kasaragod district and other passengers who were traveling the said bus sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 17/05/2007 at 1100 hrs in front of Grama Panchayath at Balila village Sullia Taluk one Jayadeep driver of Jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-21-M-8517 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-H-5160. As a result motorcycle rider one Abdul Gafoor (42) sustained grievous injuries.

On 17/05/2007 at 0830 hrs accused Abdul Razak and his brother criminally restrained one Fakruddin (70) R/o Suralpady Badagulipady village Mangalore Taluk near his house and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand owing to trivial issue.
- A case under House trespass, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 17/05/2007 at 1130 hrs one Chandrashekara Samagar entered into the Sony Printers at Gandhinagara Moodabidre Mangalore Taluk belonging to one Devadas (30) R/o Pakshikere Kemral village Mangalore Taluk and abused Devadas in filthy language and assaulted him with Screwdriver owing to trivial issue.
- A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 16/05/2007 at 2230 hrs accused Karunakar and Prasanth came in a jeep and criminally restrained a Tata Indica car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-8479 at Gandhinagar Sullia Town and abused driver of said car one Radhakrishna (35) R/o Aletti village Sullia Taluk in filthy language and gave life threat to him owing to personal enmity.
- A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 17/05/2007 at 1745 hrs accused Lingappa abused one Dharmapala (25) R/o Padna Kodimbala village Puttur Taluk in filthy language near his house and assaulted him with cold drink bottle. Motive seems to be civil dispute between them.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. One unknown male aged about 50 yrs who was admitted at Primary Health Center at Bajpe Mangalore was declared while under treatment on 17/05/2007 at 1230 hrs. The death seems to be illness.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 17/05/2007 in between 0900 hrs and 1130 hrs one Narendra Kamath (42) R/o Balpa village Sullia Taluk committed suicide by hanging in his farm at Kunathadi Sullia Taluk owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 18/05/2007 at 1100 hrs at Deraje Aranthodu village Sullia Taluk one Sheshashayana (40) accidentally fell down from a tree while cutting the branches of the tree and got serious injuries. Further he was admitted to Govt. hospital at Sullia where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on the same day

- A case of Woman missing has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. One Shashikala (30) w/o Thimmappa R/o Kaikara Volamogaru village Puttur Taluk went to Puttur on 16/05/2007 at 1100 hrs and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
