- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 15/05/2007 at 1715 hrs near Canara High School at Mannagudde Mangalore one Jagadeep rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-2020 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. MEX-1973. As a result one Jokim Ferravo (54) R/o Ashokanagara Mangalore rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. MEX-1973 sustained grievous injuries and motorcycle also got damaged.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 15/05/2007 at 1445 hrs at Karingana Amtur village Bantwal Taluk one Santhosh rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-8225 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a bicycle. As a result bicycle rider one Manikanta (14) R/o Karingana Amtur village Bantwal Taluk sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 16/05/2007 at 1345 hrs at Bobbekerikatte Vittal Town one Kushalappa driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-5594 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Thimmappa Moolya (48) R/o Mangilapadvu Vittal Town, Dinesh, Rama Shettigar and Jayalakshmi who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

On 15/05/2007 at 2230 hrs near Central Market Mangalore two unknown persons assaulted one Ravi (40) R/o Shikaripura Shimoga with wooden stick and with knife. They also assaulted his wife with wooden stick who came to help Ravi owing to trivial issue.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 15/05/2007 at 2230 hrs one James Sequera (44) R/o Saal Cell Gova attempted to commit suicide by pouring Pertol on him self at the house belonging to one Roshan Vegas (27) R/o Kombalachil Kenjaru village Mangalore Taluk. Further he got serious burn injuries and was admitted to Fr. Mullar hospital at Kankanady Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on 16/05/2007 at 0400 hrs.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. In between 15/05/2007 at 1800 hrs and 16/05/2007 at 0800 hrs one Shivappa Naik (35) R/o Palaneeru Madanooru village Puttur Taluk committed suicide by consuming some pesticide in his house owing to health problem.
