• A case under Burglary has been registered in Barke Police Station. On the intervening night of 08-09/05/2007 some unknown culprits gained entry into the Kalkudka Kallurti Temple at Thalipady Kodiyalbail Mangalore by breaking the door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments. Worth of stolen properties yet to be estimated.

• A case of MV Theft has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. In between 08/05/2007 and 09/05/2007 at 0600 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a TVS Victor motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-1350 belonging to one Monappa Gowda (45) R/o Mannadka Pade Kakkinje Chibidre village Belthangady Taluk that was parked near his house. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 25,000/.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 08/05/2007 at 1300 hrs at Badriya junction Mangalore one auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-4514 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-H-8899. As a result Praveen Chandra Shetty R/o Rosario church road Mangalore rider of motorcycle and Niranjan pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 08/05/2007 at 1000 hrs near Railway station Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-6502 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Padmavathi (42) R/o Kulashekara Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 09/08/05/2007 at 1215 hrs on NH 17 at Kulai village Mangalore Taluk one Mohammed driver of mini Lorry bearing Reg. No. CRX-7866 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Scooter bearing Reg. No. CRX-7966. As a result one Jayadeva rider of the said Scooter sustained grievous injuries and the Scooter also got damaged.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 07/05/2007 at 1230 hrs near Addur bridge Addur village Mangalore Taluk one Maxim D’Souza driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-5071 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As result one Shivarama (31) R/o Kolambe village Mangalore Taluk who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 06/05/2007 at 1100 hrs at Periyashanthi Ichlampady village Puttur Taluk one unknown driver of Tempo Trax bearing Reg. No. KA-06-C-2727 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-3700. As a result motorcycle rider one Chako K.T (38) R/o Kowkrady village Puttur Taluk sustained simple injuries. The Tempo Trax driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

• A case under Criminal restraint, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 09/05/2007 at 2015 hrs accused Shashidhara, Charan and Nishith criminally restrained one Anil (23) R/o Prakashnagara Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk near his house and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him with stone. They also assaulted his father Raja who came to help Anil with stone and gave life threat to them owing to personal enmity.
  
• A case under Criminal restraint, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 09/05/2007 at 2000 hrs accused Anil, Raja and Pradeep criminally restrained one Shashidhara (23) R/o Prakashnagara Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk near his house and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him with stone. They also assaulted Charan who came to help Shashidhara with stone and gave life threat to them owing to personal enmity.
  
• A case under Criminal restriant, Hurt, Mischief of causing damage along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 09/05/2007 at 1000 hrs Sudheer, Udaya and Sanal criminally restrained one Stephen Lukos @ Saji (41) R/o Hosadurga Kasaragod Kerala State in his bar at Nettana Bilinele village and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him with wooden stick and damaged the showcase and also gave life threat to him owing to personal enmity. The damage caused is about Rs. 3,000/.
  
• A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 09/05/2007 at 1945 hrs at Yelimale Devachalla village Sullia Taluk accused Pradeep, Ravi and Madhava abused one Abdul Kadhar R/o Devachalla village Sullia Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him by hand with wooden stick owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 10/05/2007 at 0730 hrs one unknown female dead body aged about 45 yrs to 50 yrs was found in Nethravathi river at Bantwal Town. It seems to be a case of drowning. Identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
