- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station where in one Abdul Samad (23) R/o Aladangady Belthangady Taluk has been declared dead while under treatment on 15/05/2007 at 0900 hrs. The said Abdul Samad was seriously injured by a motorcycle in a road traffic accident on 12/05/2007 at 2300 hrs near Halekote Belthangady Town and admitted to the Hospital at Mangalore. In this connection a case has already been registered in Belthangady Police Station.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 14/05/2007 at 1740 hrs near KSRTC bus stand at Bejai Mangalore one Edwin driver of Scorpio car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MF-0137 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Rohith (06) R/o Gangadhara Nagara Hubali a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 13/05/2007 at 1900 hrs at Bejai Mangalore one unknown Maruti car driver drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-661. As a result one Preetham (22) R/o Ashokanagara Mangalore rider of the said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 13/05/2007 at 1630 hrs at Chennarapade Badagulipady village Mangalore Taluk one Shekar driver of Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-5030 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-5863. As a result Vinod Kumar (31) rider of motorcycle and Devi Prasad Shetty (18) pillion rider of the said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 13/05/2007 at 1030 hrs at Thokkuttu junction Peramannur village Mangalore Taluk one Farooq driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-6082 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Abdul Rahiman (45) R/o Pavoor village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The auto rickshaw driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 13/05/2007 at 1730 hrs on NH 48 at Maripalla Bantwal Taluk one Divakara rider of a new motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-NT/TCR/1023/07-08 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Sheena Bhandary a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 14/05/2007 at 0630 hrs at Vagga Baambila Kavalapadoor village Bantwal Taluk one Yelukodi M. driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2144 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an Electric pole due which Electric pole got damaged. The damage caused is about 15,000/. No causalities reported.

On 13/05/2007 at 1430 hrs at Kolambala Bellare village Sullia Taluk one Harini Shetty R/o Kodiyala village a passenger of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-1967 while getting down from the bus, the driver of KSRTC bus moved the bus in a negligent manner due which she fell down from the bus and sustained simple injuries.

On 14/05/2007 at 2215 hrs accused Sathisha, Sudhakara, Lokesha, Vasatha, Devadas, Vasu, Umanatha, Umesha, Gopala, Krishnananda and others forming into an unlawful assembly at Sidhartha Nagara Malavoor village Mangalore Taluk criminally restrained Vasantha B.S. (28) R/o Malavoor village Mangalore Taluk and his friends Padmanabha, Vasu, Anil and Balkrishna and abused them in filthy language and assaulted them with wooden stick and also gave life threat to them owing to personal enmity.
- A case under Rioting, House trespass, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 14/05/2007 at 2010 hrs accused Hameed Kaiyar, Rahiman, Ismail, Wahiya, Ashraf, Saddique, Nisaar, Iqbal, Siddique, Ubaid, Rizwan and others forming into an unlawful assembly entered into Jumma Mosque at Jaradagudde Boliyar village and abused Mohammed (39) R/o Boliyaru village Mangalore Taluk, Abdul Sathar and Iqbal in filthy language and assulted them with wooden stick and with knife and also gave life threat to them. The Motive seems to be dispute between committee members of Boliyaru Jumma Mosque.

On 14/05/2007 at 2000 hrs accused Sathar, Siraj, Kunchi Monu, Siraj, Musthafa, Badruddin, Dawood, Riyaz, Munavar, Iqbal, Mohammed, Shameer and Rafique forming into an unlawful assembly entered into Jumma Mosque at Jaradagudde Boliyar village and abused Hammed K. (42) R/o Boliyaru village Mangalore Taluk and Rizwan in filthy language and assaulted them by hand and with stone and also gave life threat to them. The Motive seems to be dispute between committee members of Boliyaru Jumma Mosque.

On 14/05/2007 at 1215 hrs one Rathnakara Survarna entered into the Ideal Traders shop at Lalbagh Mangalore and abused the Manager of the said shop one Shrinatha Kamatha P. R/o Car street Mangalore in filthy language and assaulted him with iron rod and also gave life threat to him owing to financial issue.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 14/05/2007 at 1045 hrs one Victor Cordero (45) accidentally slipped into the Falguni river while fishing at Shivagiri Andinje village Belthangady Taluk and died due drowning.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. In between 13/05/2007 at 0900 hrs and 15/05/2007 at 1045 hrs one Lancy D’Souza (37) R/o near Ganesha Katte Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to personal problem.
