- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 20/05/2007 at 1215 hrs on NH 17 at Adankudru Jappinamogaru village Mangalore Taluk one Rama driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KL-14-C-7814 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one unknown pedestrian aged about 30 yrs to 40 yrs and caused him serious injuries. Further he succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 18/05/2007 at 1445 hrs near Maduvan Apartments at Kadri Mangalore one rider of Bullet motorcycle bearing Reg. No. MYX-8657 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Kinetic Honda bearing Reg. No. KA-19-H-9405. As a result Kinetic Honda rider Harish Kumar R/o Bejai Kadri Mangalore and pillion rider his wife Chitra sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 18/05/2007 at 1530 hrs at Parari Tiruvailu village Mangalore one unknown driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MN-7987 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Honnamma (50) R/o Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries. The car driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 18/05/2007 at 2150 hrs near Kavoor school at Kavoor village Mangalore Taluk Sadiq rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-3315 and Ashok rider of another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-9435 drove their vehicles in rash and negligent manner and dashed against each other. As result riders of both motorcycles sustained simple injures.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 15/05/2007 at 1400 hrs at Somanthadka Mundaje village Belthangady one driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-7510 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which vehicle capsized. As a result Husainar (27) R/o Ujire village Belthangady Taluk and Ameer (08) R/o Ujire village Belthangady Taluk who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.

- A case under under Criminal breach of turst by clerk, Falsification of accounts along with Cheating has been registered in Venoor Police Station on the complaint of one Sanjeeva Naik (47) C/o Karnataka Vikasa Gramina Bank. It is alleged in the complaint that from 2002 one Ramananda B.V. Rao (48) R/o Karkala Udupi district a Clerk cum Cashier of Karnataka Vikasa Gramina Bank at Venoor Town Belthangady Taluk committed criminal breach of trust to the Bank by Falsification of accounts of the customers and other documents and cheated the Bank to the tune of Rs. 1,14,320/.

- A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke beach of the peace, Hurt, Mischief of causing damage along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 16/05/2007 at 0145 hrs accused Praveen @ Jody D’Souza and others abused one Ganesh Prasad R/o Nehru Nagara Kabaka village Puttur Taluk in filthy language near his house and assaulted him by hand and gave life threat to him. They also damaged his house by pelting stones owing to trivial issue.

On 19/05/2007 at 1630 hrs accused Seetharama Achary and his son abused one Yogish B. Jr. Engineer, MESCOM Dept. Madanthyar Branch Belthangady Taluk in filthy language while he was on duty at Varakabe Kuvettu village and damaged the Electric articles and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue. The damage caused is about Rs. 2, 000/.

Unnatural Death Report: 04
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. In between 18/05/2007 at 2230 hrs and 19/05/2007 at 0630 hrs one Azeez accidentally fell from the top of KMC hospital building at Mangalore and got serious injuries and died on the spot.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 19/05/2007 at 1000 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 55 yrs to 60 yrs was found in side the bus stand at Panambur Mangalore Taluk. The death seems to be due to some illness.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 19/05/2007 at 1400 hrs one Usha (19) R/o Kagekana Barimar village Bantwal Taluk accidentally slipped into the river near her house while washing her clothes and died due drowning.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. In between 19/05/2007 at 2200 hrs and 20/05/2007 at 0600 hrs one Balakrishna Nayak (38) R/o Padu Madnur village Puttur Taluk committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to financial problem.

- A case of Boy missing has been registered in Sullia Police Station. One Vishwanatha (18) R/o Kerpala Sullia Town left his house on 10/05/2007 at 1400 hrs and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
- A case of Woman and Children missing has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 16/05/2007 at 1200 hrs one Hajeera (30) w/o Ummar Kunhi R/o Anil Katte Vittal Padnur village left her house with her children Nisha (05) and Balkees Banu (03) and did not return to her house there after. They have been found missing since then.
