- A case under Cruelty by husband, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Barke Police Station on the complaint of one Nisha (35) R/o Urwa Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged her husband Madhava R/o Ashokanagara Mangalore gave physical and mental harassment to her and on 28/05/2007 at 0915 hrs he assaulted her by hand and also gave life threat to her owing to family dispute.
- A case under Cruelty by husband and his relatives along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Ullal Police Station on the complaint of one Maimuna (30) R/o Thokkuttu Permannur village Mangalore Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that Abdul Razak (husband) and his relatives Saramma, Abdul Rahiman and Kulusu gave physical and mental harassment and also gave life threat to the complainant to bring more dowry.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 28/05/2007 at 2000 hrs on NH 17 at Padupanambur Mangalore Taluk one Jayarama driver of Tempo bearing Reg. No. CRQ-7590 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break due which one Panduranga (53) rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-3666 that was behind the Tempo rammed to it from back. As a result motorcycle rider one Panduranga sustained grievous injuries. Further he was admitted to A.J. hospital Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on the same day at 2130 hrs.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 25/05/2007 at 1900 hrs one Chandrashekara rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-1451 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Ananda Belchada (40) R/o Adduru village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 27/05/2007 at 2125 hrs near Nethravathi Guest house at Asaigoli Mangalore one unknown rider of Kinetic Honda drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Jayanthi (42) w/o Narayana R/o Bannimantapa Mysore a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries. The scooter rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 25/05/2007 at 2000 hrs at Hosabettu village Mangalore one Anil D’Souza driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-4233 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Honda Activa scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Q-8173. As a result scooter rider one Prabha M. Saliyan (24) w/o Mohan Saliyan R/o Hosabettu village Mangalore sustained simple injuries.

- A case under Rioting, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 28/05/2007 at 1645 hrs accused Shobith, Arun Chilumbi, Sudhir Kodikal, Deepak, Rithesh and Rakshit forming into an unlawful assembly near Ballalbhag Mangalore abused one Prashanth Bhandary (26) R/o Kavoor Mangalore taluk and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him. The motive seems to be personal enmity between accused Shobith and Prashanth Bhandary.

- A case under Causing death due to negligence (sec 304 A) has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 29/05/2007 1045 hrs near Railway over Bridge at Golthamajalu village Bantwal Taluk a branch of tree fell over the motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-9782 due to the negligence of one Rafique Bolanthur. As a result one Abdul Razak rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injures. Further he was admitted to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on the same day at 1130 hrs.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 27/05/2007 at 1130 hrs one Hanumesha (45) accidentally fell down into the pond while working at Dondole Gandibagilu Neriya village Belthangady Taluk and died due drowning.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 28/05/2007 at 1700 hrs one Vasantha Poojary (45) R/o Melanthabettu village Belthangady Taluk committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 28/05/2007 at 1300 hrs at Kolya Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk a tree accidentally fell over a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KL-14-G-4174 due to which Ummar (23) R/o Hosangady Manjeshwar Kerala rider of motorcycle and Ansar (26) R/o Kinnya village Mangalore Taluk pillion rider of said motorcycle got serious injuries and died on the spot.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. In between 28/05/2007 and 29/05/2007 at 1100 hrs one Ramanna Gowda (40) R/o Ramakunja village Puttur Taluk committed suicide by consuming poison near Kulelu Bridge Uppinangady Town owing to personal problem.
