- A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 27/05/2007 at 1330 hrs at Noor Mahal Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk one Nazir committed theft of Rs. 800/ from the handbag belonging to one Asma R/o Sakaleshpura Hassan District.

- A case under Criminal restraint, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 27/05/2007 at 0715 hrs accused one Ramesh Rai came in a Scorpio car bearing Reg. No. KA-05-MJ-1111 and criminally restrained a 38 yr woman R/o Mangalore near Central market at Mangalore and abused her in filthy language and assaulted her by hand and also gave life threat to her. The motive seems to be that the woman had earlier lodged a complaint against him.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 26/05/2007 at 2245 hrs one unknown auto rickshaw driver drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Chandra a Police Head constable of Mangalore South PS and caused him simple injuries. The auto rickshaw driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 27/05/2007 at 1630 hrs at Barebail Mangalore one Mudiyappa driver of Tipper Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-622 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-8277 from behind driven by one Sanjay Kumar Shetty (45) R/o Shivabagh Kadri Mangalore. As a result the car got damaged.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Station. On 27/05/2007 at 0030 hrs on NH 17 near Sankolige bus stop Mangalore Taluk one Abubakkar rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-9100 drove his vehicle in rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Saiyad Mohammed Ummar (17) R/o Uchilla Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 26/05/2007 at 1800 hrs at Pailaru Amarapadnur village Sullia Taluk one Chennabasappa driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-1753 drove his vehicle in rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-2056. As a result motorcycle got damaged. No casualties reported.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthnagady Police Station. On 28/05/2007 at 0930 hrs at Kalleri Dharmasthala village Belthangady Taluk one Abbonu driver of Jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-21-M-1517 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-1778 driven by one Bheemanna Gowda (27) R/o Bhal Taluk Bijapura district. As a result 10 passengers in the said jeep sustained simple injuries and both the vehicles got damaged.

On 27/05/2007 at 1700 hrs accused Ganesha, Deepak and Praveen came in auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-5490 and a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-6373 and criminally restrained one Dharmanna a Security Guard at K.S. Hegde hospital while he was on duty and assaulted him by hand and gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.
- A case under Criminal restraint, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 27/08/2007 at 1650 hrs accused Paddu @ Padmanaha, Vinod @ Vinnu, Raju @ Nagaraja and Kiran criminally restrained one Karunakara Shetty (30) R/o Nithyananda Nagara Belma village at Markdu Belma village and assaulted him with sword and also gave life threat him owing to trivial issue.
- A case under Criminal restraint, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 27/08/2007 at 1700 hrs accused Karunakara Shetty, Ravi, Ganesha @ Gachu and Nagesha criminally restrained one Padmanabha @ Paddu (37) R/o Markadu Belma village near his house and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him with beer bottle and also gave life threat him owing to trivial issue.

- A case under escape from lawful custody has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 27/05/2007 at 1900 hrs one Masood R/o N.R. Pura Chikkamagalur accused in Uppinangady PS Cr. No. 187/2006 who was in Mangalore Wenlock hospital cell ward escaped from the said cell ward.

Unnatural Death Report: 03
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 27/05/2007 at 2200 hrs one Kallappa Poojar (30) R/o Kalagatti Darawada district who was working as a cleaner of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-31-3176 was found dead in the said lorry that was parked in front of APMC Baikampady Mangalore Taluk. The death seems to be due to some illness.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 27/05/2007 at 1230 hrs one Raghu (23) R/o Attaje Ujire village Belthangady Taluk accidentally fell down from the coconut tree while removing coconuts and got seriously injured. Further he succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. In between 17/05/2007 and 27/05/2007 one Venugoapala Kottari (22) R/o Doddalike Kelinjaru village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to financial problem.
