On 26/05/2007 in between 0130 hrs and 0230 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Shahidha (38) R/o Pilaru Permannur village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed theft of cash Rs. 24,000/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 26/05/2007 at 1625 hrs at Kerekad Kilpady village Mangalore Taluk one Ganesh driver of Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-8687 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Narasappa Salian (48) R/o Mannabettu village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian due which he sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 27/05/2007 at 0100 hrs on NH 13 near Bollecharu bridge Kaikamba Moodabidre one driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-30-1072 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against Bollecharu Bridge and lost control over his vehicle due which Lorry fell into a roadside ditch. As a result driver of said lorry sustained grievous injuries and two passengers who were traveling in the said Lorry sustained simple injuries. Further Lorry driver succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

On 25/05/2007 at 2030 hrs one unknown auto rickshaw driver drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Bajaj M80 Scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-5598. As a result scooter rider Loy Raskinha (26) R/o Kulashekara Mangalore and Sharath pillion rider of said scooter sustained simple injuries. The auto rickshaw driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 26/05/2007 at 0745 hrs near Tollgate Kadri Mangalore one Harees driver of Maruti Zen car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-4015 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Q-7629 driven by one Francis Raj (34) R/o Neerumarga Mangalore. Further car driver lost control over his vehicle and dashed against an electric pole. As a result driver of said car sustained simple injuries. The car also got damaged.

On 25/05/2007 at 1000 hrs at Aramanebagilu Marpady village Mangalore Taluk one Mohammed Sarfraj rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-4344 drove his vehicle in rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Devaki R/o Marpady village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries.

On 22/05/2007 at 1130 hrs on Kesarugadde Acharikatte road Padumarnadu village Mangalore Taluk one unknown driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-7969 drove his vehicle in rash and negligent manner and dashed against Bajaj M-80 Scooter driven by one Sundra Shetty. As a result one Shadashiva Shetty (40) R/o Padumarnadu village Mangalore Taluk pillion rider of said scooter sustained simple injuries. The auto rickshaw driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 25/05/2007 at 1815 hrs at Kudrebettu Balthila village Bantwal Taluk one driver of Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-05-A-8908 drove his vehicle in rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Bicycle driven by Mashchith. Further car driver lost control over his vehicle and dashed against an electric pole due which car capsized. As a result cycle rider Mashchith and some passengers who were traveling in said car sustained simple injuries.

Further he succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.
