- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 10/05/2007 at 0900 hrs PI Mangalore North PS apprehended one Abdul Yunus (19) R/o Payyangadi Kannuru Kasaragod Kerala State who was found moving suspiciously on a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KL-13-M-6205 at Hampankatte Mangalore. On enquiry it was learnt that the said motorcycle has been stolen somewhere else along with Elias R/o Manjeshwara Kasaragod. However pillion rider of said motorcycle Elias managed to escape from the place. Accordingly a case was registered in Mangalore North PS.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 10/05/2007 at 0940 hrs on NH 17 at Daddalakad Mangalore one driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-18-AB-8710 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Matiz car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N—7879 from behind driven by one Jayachandra (45) R/o Kodiyalguttu Mangalore Taluk. As a result car got damaged. No casualties reported.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 10/05/2007 at 0915 hrs near bus stand at Kalpane Mangalore one Madhava Suvarna rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-K-6804 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-6088 from behind driven by one Lokayya R/o Maryhill Mangalore. As a result Madhava Suvarna rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 09/05/2007 at 1530 hrs near Mulkaje Mada Govt. hospital Maninalkoor village Bantwal Taluk one Gopala Poojary rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-9979 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Rohith (17) R/o Sarapady village Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. Further motorcycle rider lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a result motorcycle rider Gopala Poojary and Dayananda pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 09/05/2007 at 1630 hrs at Kanyana Vittal Bantwal Town one driver of Ambulance bearing Reg. No. KA-19-G-8074 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner dashed against an Electric pole due which Electric pole got damaged. The damage caused is about 7,000/. No casualties reported.
- A case of Non Fatal accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 10/05/2007 at 1430 hrs at Salmara Junction Chikkamudnoor village Puttur Taluk one Sayyad Ali driver of Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-1687 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-4895 from behind. As a result motorcycle rider one Chandrashekara Gowda (28) R/o Nellyadi Puttur and Umedra (25) R/o Arthijalu Nellyadi Puttur Taluk pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

On 10/05/2007 at 1100 hrs at Kanakamajalu Town Sullia Taluk one Vasantha Poojary driver of Pickup vehicle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-7197 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Bhavyashri (12) R/o Kanakamajalu village Sullia Taluk a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries.

On 10/05/2007 at 1745 hrs accused Krishna, Suresh, Sanath Kumar, Sudhakara, Shashikantha, Shashi Kumar, Sandeep, Shishiradas and Shabari came in a Min bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-7948 and forming into an lawful assembly and entered into Bhagavathi workshop at Kulai village Mangalore Taluk and criminally restrained one Ganesh (37) R/o Kulai Gudde Kulai village Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him with iron rod and gave life threat to him and also damaged the workshop owing to trivial issue.

On 09/05/2007 at 1945 hrs accused Khadar abused one Pradeep (19) R/o Yelimale Devachalla village Sullia Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him by hand near his house and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

On 10/05/2007 at 1430 hrs accused Surya Singh (20) R/o Permannur vilalge Mangalore Taluk and Chakra Singh (32) R/o Permannur vilalge Mangalore Taluk picked up quarrel and started fighting over a financial issue in public place at Thokkottu Junction Permannur village Mangalore Taluk. The Police arrested the accused and took up a case under affray.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 10/05/2007 in between 1400 hrs and 1500 hrs one Chandrashekara (26) R/o Kulala Matta Bantwal Town committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 10/05/2007 at 1430 hrs one Rohini (18) R/o Bannur village Puttur Taluk consumed poison owing to personal problem. Further she was admitted to hospital at Puttur where she was declared dead while under treatment.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 09/05/2007 at 1830 hrs in bus stand at Ujire village Belthangady Taluk one Rajashekarayya (50) Kanakapura Bangalore developed chest pain and died on the spot.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 10/05/2007 at 1500 hrs one Ganapayya Gowda (70) R/o Balpa village Sullia Taluk while walking at Parvathamukha Sullia Taluk developed chest pain and fell down and died on the spot.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On the night of 08-09/05/2007 one Ramachandra (50) R/o Panathil Kanakamajalu village Sullia Taluk got seriously injured while working at Desakodi Markanja village Sullia Taluk. Further he was admitted to hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on 10/05/2007 at 0450 hrs.
