In between 08/05/2007 at 1130 hrs and 09/05/2007 at 0630 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of gold ornaments from the house belonging to one Yogish Kumar (28) R/o Shantheri Apartment Gandhinagar Mangalore. The stolen property is worth Rs. 95,000/.
- A case under Burglary has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 09/05/2007 in between 0200 hrs and 0400 hrs some unknown culprits gained into the house belonging to one Yajnesha (33) R/o Manchikatte Manchi village Bantwal Taluk and committed theft of gold ornaments (80 grams) all in worth Rs. 70,000/.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 08/05/2007 at 0600 hrs on NH 17 at Thadambail Surathkal village Mangalore Talluk one Shareef driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. CRX-9866 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. GJ-1-HG-2524. As a result driver of car Mani Kuttan, Baiju (43) R/o Godasan Ahamadabad and Girish Kumar who were traveling in the said car sustained grievous injures. The car also got damaged.

On 07/05/2007 at 2315 hrs on NH 17 at Marigudi Surathkal village Mangalore one driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-544 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-L-9601. As a result one Ganesh Prasad rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

As a result driver of car Mohammed Haneef (28) R/o Kaimana Puttur Taluk, Assiyamma who was traveling in the said car, Abdul Samad rider of motorcycle and pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injures.

No. KA-21-3644 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-4444. As a result one Jayananda Gowda (32) R/o Kanyadi Dharmastala village Belthangady Taluk rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 07/08/2007 at 1930 hrs at Volalbailu Bajathur village one unknown driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-31-1498 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-8134 from behind. As a result Prakash Pais rider of motorcycle sustained grievous injuries and Sesappa pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries. The lorry driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

On 08/05/2007 at 1915 hrs in front of Seva Sahakara Sanga at Ariyapu village Puttur Taluk one Thirtha Prasad rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-1049 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Kinetic Honda scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-J-2780. As a result one Lingappa (36) rider of Kinetic Honda scooter sustained simple injuries.

On 03/05/2007 at 1500 hrs accused Nonappa Gowda, Seetharama D. and Krishanappa abused one Dinesha R/o Devaragadde Subramanya village Sullia Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him with wooden stick and also gave life threat to him. The motive seems to be civil dispute between them.
- A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Sullia Police Station. - A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 08/05/2007 at 1500 hrs one Saleena D’Souza (32) R/o Karyathadka Konalu village Puttur Taluk consumed poison in her house owing to health problem. Further she died on the way to hospital.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 09/05/2007 at 0800 hrs one Shekara Mera (50) R/o Paladka village Mangalore Taluk was found dead at Kemaaru Paladka village Mangalore Taluk. The death seems to be due to heavy drunkenness.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 09/05/2007 at 0700 hrs one Ammi Gowda (70) R/o Kodange Indabettu village Belthangady Taluk accidentally slipped into the pond while working near his house and died due drowning.
