- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 26/10/2008 at 1000 hrs near Baligha store at Bejai Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-1578 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Ibrahim Saheb (55) R/o Akashbhavan Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. Further he was admitted to Wenlock Hospital at Mangalore where in he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on 01/11/2008 at 0715 hrs.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 01/11/2008 at 1630 hrs near Service station at Panambur Mangalore Taluk one Achhutha driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-5538 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-8318. As a result one Prasad rider of motorcycle sustained serious injuries. Further he was succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital

As a result car driver one Praksh Saldhana (31) R/o Agrar Bantwal Taluk and rider of Activa Honda sustained simple injuries.

As a result Kinetic Honda rider one Rathan Kumar (35) R/o Jeppu Mangalore sustained simple injuries.
