No. KA-19-B-5131 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-3181. As a result motorcycle rider Vishal Francis D'Souza (27) R/o Krishnapur Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk and Pradeep Kumar pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

- A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 15/11/2008 at 2200 hrs on credible information CPI Puttur Rural Circle, PSI Puttur Rural PS along with staff intercepted an Indica car bearing Reg. No. KA-16-M-3313 at Gondalakana Panaje village Puttur Taluk and seized 6300 sachets (each 100 ML) worth Rs. 94,500/ from the car which was being transported illegally. The said Indica car has also been seized. Indica car driver and another person however escaped from the place. The total value of property seized is worth Rs. 3, 94,5 00/.

- A case of Man missing has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. One Ananda Sapalya R/o Dharkasu Panjikallu village Mangalore Taluk left his house on 27/09/2008 at 1600 hrs and did not return to his house there after. He was found missing since then.
