- A case under Murder has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 24/11/2008 at 1100 hrs accused one Sadhashiva Gowda killed one Baby (55) R/o Jedarapete Kokkada village Belthangady Taluk by assaulting with sickle near her house owing to civil dispute between the accused person and Baby.

- A case of Robbery has been registered in Barke Police Station relating to an incident of chain snatching. On 25/11/2008 at 1945 hrs near Preethi Apartment at Kodialgutthu Mangalore one Hilda Lobo (68) R/o Kodialgutthu Mangalore was on her way to home by walk. At that time one unknown person snatched the gold chain from her neck and ran away. The value of the property is Rs. 25,000/.
- A case of Robbery has been registered in Kavoor Police Station relating to an incident of chain snatching. On 25/11/2008 at 1745 hrs in front of NMPT Guard at Manjalpade Padushedde village Mangalore Taluk one Chandravathi R/o Moodushedde Mangalore was on her way to home by walk. At that time two unknown person came in a motorcycle and snatched the gold chain from her neck and ran away with their motorcycle. The value of the property is Rs. 20,000/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 25/11/2008 at 1930 hrs at Kolnadu Industrial Area Karnadu village Mangalore Taluk one Sangappa driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-20-B-2737 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one David a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. Further he was succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 25/11/2008 at 2000 hrs near Suaralpady Garage at Ganjimata Badagulipady village Mangalore Taluk one unknown lorry driver drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-8520. As a result motorcycle rider Najeem Ahammed and Arun D Souza pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained serious injuries. Further Arun D Souza succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital. The lorry driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 25/11/2008 at 1230 hrs near Ladyhill circle at Mangalore one Prabhakara driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AE-5547 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against Lancer a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MC-4759 driven by Prasanna Kumar (27) R/o Kodialgutthu Mangalore. As a result car got damaged. No casualty reported.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 25/11/2008 at 1015 hrs near Gemini store at Kadri Mangalore one driver of Mahindra Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-21-5095 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KL-14-E-3949 driven by Remanod D Souza (27) R/o Kaprigudda Mangalore. As a result car got damaged. No casualty reported.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 25/11/2008 at 1230 hrs in front of Mahindra Arcade at Bunts Hostel Mangalore one driver of Tata Indica car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-746 drove his vehicle rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-8358. As a result auto rickshaw driver one Padhmaraja (24) R/o Badakodi village Belthangady Taluk sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 23/11/2008 at 2200 hrs in front of Sai Service Station at Parivarakana Sullia Town one Kabeer driver of Quails car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AB-7727 drove his vehicle rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which Quails car capsized. As a result one Hemanatha D.V (20) R/o Doddadka Sampaje village Sullia Taluk who was traveling in the said car sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 25/11/2008 at 1000 hrs near bus stand at Boliyaru Dharmasthla village Belthangady Taluk one Mukunda Gowda driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-A-1247 drove his vehicle rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result auto rickshaw driver Mukunda Gowda, Chandravathi (38) R/o Kalanja village Belthangady Taluk, Honnamma and Seethamma who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
