- A case of Robbery has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station relating to an incident of chain snatching. On 26/11/2008 at 1700 hrs near Forest Quarters at Thodar village Mangalore Taluk one Khushala (27) R/o Govugudde Kallabettu village Mangalore Taluk was on her way to home by walk. At that time two unknown person came in a motorcycle and snatched the gold chain from her neck and ran away with their motorcycle. The value of the property is Rs. 45,000/.

On 26/11/2008 at 0830 hrs one Shubhalatha K (24) R/o Kainthila Kuria village Puttur Taluk on her way to home by walkat Purusharakatte Narimogru village Puttur Taluk . At that time one Ravi Kumar came in a car and tried to outraged modesty of by pulling her hand .

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 26/11/2008 at 1515 hrs at Sediyapu Kodimbadi village Puttur Taluk one Devendran rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-628 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which the vehicle capsized. As a result motorcycle rider sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.

No. KA-19-Z-5591 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. CNX-445. As a result motorcycle rider one Shrinivas Prabhu and pillion rider one Sudhakar Prabhu (32) R/o Gerukatte Kaliya village Belthangady Taluk sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 24/11/2008 at 2100 hrs near Petrol Pump at Falnir Mnaglore one Sagar rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19X-2145 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Latha R/o Manjeshwara Kerala State a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 26/11/2008 at 1400 hrs near Karavali circle at Kankanady Mnaglore one Bahseer driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-21-9108 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Ford Icon car bearing Reg. No. KA –17-M-3747 driven by one Abdul Latheef (39) R/o Mashtikatte Ullal Mangalore. As a result car got damaged. No casualty reported.

- A case under Rioting, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 26/11/2008 at 1830 hrs accused Ashoka, Baba @ Praveen, Dinesh, Raghvendra and other 15 unknown persons forming into unlawful assembly near Purushakatte Narimogru village Puttur Taluk and assaulted one Ravi Kumar (29) R/o Purushakatte Narimogru village Puttur Taluk by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

- A case under Criminal restraint along with Hurt has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 26/11/2008 at 1800 hrs accused Ravi Kumar and another person criminally restrained Praveen Kumar (45) R/o Kombettu Puttur Town, Dinesh and Rajesh at Purushakatte Narimogru village Puttur Taluk near their house and assaulted them by hand and with wooden stick owing to trivial issue.

- A case under NDPS Act has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 26/11/2008 at 1030 hrs on credible information PSI Bantwal Rural PS along with staff arrested Mohammad Nazeer (32) Maripalla Pudu village Bantwal Taluk and Mohammad Iqbal (29) R/o Ammemar Pudu village Bantwal Taluk and seized 156.200 grams wroth Rs. 890 of Ganja, motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-2918 and cash Rs. 370/- from their possession. The Police apprehended them while they where selling Ganja near farangipete Pudu village Bantwal Taluk. However two more accused Ashraf @ Chote Miyya and Salim @ Daimond Salim manges to escape from the place.

- A case of Boys missing has been registered in Venoor Police Station. Nikhil Dalmedha (14) and Santhosh Rego (14) left from St. Antony Residential School at Naravi village Belthangady Taluk on 25/11/2008 at 2000 hrs and did not return to Residential School there after. They have been found missing since then.
