- A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. In between 02/11/2008 at 2100 hrs and 03/11/2008 at 0600 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of Rubber Sheets and Rubber Scraps belonging to one Chandrakala M.B. R/o Motadka Valalambe Guttigaru village Sullia Taluk that was kept near his house.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 02/11/2008 at 1515 hrs on NH 48 at Gundya Shirady village Puttur Taluk one Vivekananda Nayak driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2555 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which bus fell into a roadside ditch. As a result Vivekannd Nayak driver of bus, Hasanabba conductor said bus, Annapoorna and Prasanth (25) who were traveling in the said bus sustained grievous injuries and admitted to hospital. Further Prashanth was admitted to A.J. hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on 03/11/2008 at 1100 hrs.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 01/11/2008 at 1100 hrs on Bhavanthi road at Mangalore one driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-17-C-4283 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Laxmi Bhandarkar (18) R/o B.T. Road Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.

- A case of Women missing has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 29/10/2008 at 1800 hrs one Pushvathi (40) W/o Ishwara Naik R/o Guriyadka Hathyadka village Belthangady Taluk left her house and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
