  • A case of Burglary has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. In between 16/11/2008 at 1800 hrs and 20/11/2008 at 0900 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Sathyabhama (46) R/o near Mahalingeshwara Temple at Idya village Mangalore Taluk and committed theft of 4 silver Pooja articles, a Camera and a Wrist Watch all in worth Rs. 2,900.
  • A case of Burglary has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 21/11/2008 in between 0915 hrs and 1650 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Lancy Thavro (60) R/o Kinyalakatte Kokkady village Belthangady Taluk and committee theft of gold ornaments and cash Rs. 2500/ all in worth Rs. 12,500.
  • A case of Burglary has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 21/11/2008 in between 0830 hrs and 1245 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Pious D Silva R/o Bhatrakodi Pacchanday village Mangalore Taluk and committed theft of gold ornaments and cash Rs. 10, 000/ all in worth Rs. 52,500/.

  • A case under Servant Theft has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 18/04/2008 at 2230 hrs one Aboobakkar (55) R/o Uppinangady who was working in Mahindra Logon car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-8687 belonging to Mohammed Isak (56) Falnir Mangalore as driver, committed theft of the said car, which was parked near Payas Menar Urwastore Mangalore. The total value of stolen Mahindra Logon car is worth Rs. 5,70,000/.

  • A case of MV Theft has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 17/11/2008 in between 0800 hrs and 1000 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-3955 belonging to one Kumareshan (41) R/o Parladka Puttur Town that was parked at parking place of KSRTC bus stand at Puttur Town. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 17,000/.

  • A case under Hurt has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 21/11/2008 in between 0900 hrs and 1200 hrs accused one Obayya assaulted one Girija (40) R/o Kempulaje Padangady village Belthangady Taluk with wooden stick owing to trivial issue.

On 18/11/2008 at 1300 hrs accused Jahoor, Sharief, Khadar, Davood, Navaz and other 15 unknown persons forming into unlawful assembly near Guru Kambala at Moodu Perara village Mangalore Taluk and assaulted one Shiek Mohammed Gous (48) R/o Moodu Perara village Mangalore Taluk by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

  • A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 21/11/2008 at 1810 hrs accused Harish and Sandeep criminally restrained one Jagadhish (40) R/o Kerala State near Mooda Market at Idya village Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him with blade owing to trivial issue.

  • A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 21/11/2008 at 1600 hrs on credible information PSI (crime) Kavoor PS along with staff conducted a raid on an open place at Sarakari Gudde Kavoor Mangalore seized (06 ltrs) of illicit liquor worth Rs.300/. However accused one Henry Sequeira (45) R/o Sarakari Gudde Kavoor Mangalore who was selling this illicit liquor has managed to escape from the place.
