- A case under Cruelty by husband and his relatives along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Woman Police Station on the complaint of one Sukanya D/o Gopalakrishna R/o School road Bantwal Town. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Arun Kumar (husband) and his relatives Kiran Kumar, Rajeevi Serigarthi and Usha R/o Kunjibettu Udupi District gave physical and mental harassment to Sukanya to bring more dowry and they also gave life threat to her.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 06/11/2008 at 1230 hrs in front of RTO at Mangalore one driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2021 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Jagadhisha Acharya (28) R/o Pragathinagara Madya village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 06/11/2008 at 1020 hrs at Kalpana road Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-6226 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-9100. As a result one Hubert Vas (58) R/o Atthavara Mangalore rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No.KA-19-L-9100 sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 05/11/2008 at 2230 hrs near Jokatte cross at Panambur Mangalore one Pahad B.K. rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-1444 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a result one Hidayath B.K. R/o Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

On 05/11/2008 at 1900 hrs in front of Sriramapete Govt. hospital at Sullia Town one Ramanna Rai K. rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-K-2378 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Monty (50) R/o Amaramudnoor village Sullia Taluk a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.

- A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 06/11/2008 at 1630 hrs accused Udaya Kumar and Bhavani Shankara abused one Harish Shetty R/o Kodikal Mangalore in filthy language near his house and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 06/10/2008 at 1830 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 35 years was found in front of Aruna Oil Mill at Basavanagudy Mangalore.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Vittal Police Station. In between 04/11/2008 and 06/11/2008 one Giriyappa Naik (60) R/o Basavanagudy Vittal Bantwal Town accidentally slipped into the pond while walking near his house and died due drowning.

- A case of Girl missing has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 13/10/2008 one Latha (19) R/o Kemmaje Bondanthila village Mangalore Taluk left her house and did not return her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
