On 07/11/2008 at 0830 hrs PSI Vittal PS along with his staff on credible information intercepted a Swaraj Mazda lorry bearing Reg. No. CTX-9534 at Babakatte, Ananthady village Puttur Taluk and seized 62 wooden logs that were being transported illegally by arresting Mohammed Haneef (20) R/o Muluru Ira villge Bantwal Taluk and Ibrahim (36) R/o Mudipu Ira village Bantwal Taluk. The lorry has also been seized.
The total value of property seized is worth Rs. 1,20,000/.In this connection, a case has been registered in Vittal Police Station under the Karnataka Forest Act.
