On 21/11/2008 at 2300 hrs and 0500 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the Sri Somanatheshwara Temple at Kuthyaru Belthangady Town by breaking the roof tiles and committed theft of cash Rs.6, 000/ by breaking the 'Kanike Hundi'.

- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 23/11/2008 in between 1750 hrs and 1815 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Hyundai Santro car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MJ-555 belonging to one Ajamal Habeeb that was parked at parking place of Unity Hospital at Highland Mangalore. The Hyundai Santro car is worth Rs. 2,00,000/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 23/11/2008 at 1420 hrs at Kokkarekallu Karnadu village Mangalore Taluk one Bharath driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. MH-14-AH-6992 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-4780. As result one Mohammed (43) rider of said motorcycle sustained serious injuries. Further he was succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 24/11/208 at 0200 hrs near Railway Over bridge at Baikampady Mangalore one Gangadhara (26) R/o Kumata Karavara Taluk driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-20-D-6786 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which lorry fell into a ditch. As a result one Gangadhara (26) R/o Kumata Karavara Taluk driver of lorry sustained serious injuries. Further he was succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 23/11/2008 at 1430 hrs Ubanje Neriya village Belthangady Taluk one Bhimappa driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-1951 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-1726. As a result motorcycle rider Purushothama (38) R/o Charmady village Belthangady Taluk and Dinesh (21) pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained serious injuries. Further they were admitted to Govt Hospital at Ujire village Belthangady Taluk where in one Dinesh succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on the same day at 2040 hrs.
