- A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. In between 13/11/2008 and 14/11/2008 at 0800 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of 40 iron sheets belonging to one Anwar R/o near Bhajana Mandira Bajpe Mangalore that was kept in his constructing house. The stolen property worth Rs. 20,000.

- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 08/11/2008 in between 2200 hrs and 2400 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-2388 belonging to one Joeram B. Koiyeelo (37) R/o Kulashekara Mangalore that was parked near Lobo Prabhu Flat at LHH road Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 17,000/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 18/11/2008 at 0845 hrs near DKZP school at Kallabettu village Mangalore Taluk one Yusuf driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-2250 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break due which one Nijamuddin (13) who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw was thrown out of the auto rickshaw and sustained serious injuries. Further he was succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 18/11/2008 at 0730 hrs in front of Vijaya Bank at Hosabettu village Mangalore Taluk one Sharanappa driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-37-F-326 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Bicycle driven by one Venkatesh Ameen (50). As a result bicycle rider sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 18/11/2008 at 1530 hrs at Parladka Puttur Town one unknown rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-E-8749 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Cyril D Souza (15) R/o Periyakodi Kabaka village Puttur Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

On 15/09/2008 at 1930 hrs accused 20 unknown persons forming into unlawful assembly near Raktheshwari temple at B.C Road Bantwal Town and assaulted one Lancy Vincent D Souza (33) R/o Sannadka Kallige village Bantwal Taluk with wooden stick owing to trivial issue.

- A case under Criminal restraint, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 18/11/2008 at 1300 hrs accused rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-2905 and pillion rider of said motorcycle criminally restrained one Rajesh (18) R/o Kondana Kotekar village Mangalore Taluk near bus stand at Kallapu Permannur village Mangalore Taluk and assaulted by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.
- A case under Criminal restraint along with Hurt has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 17/11/2008 at 1900 hrs accused Sharavana, Vinaya, Shivajnana Sundaram and Krishnamoorthy criminally restrained one Sendhil Kumar (26) R/o Otekaje CRC colony Sunkadhakatte Ithuru village Sullia Taluk at Kamila Gitthigaru village Sullia Taluk and assaulted him by hand and with ripper owing to trivial issue.

On 16/11/2008 at 1700 hrs accused Lalitha @ Bangara and Malini abused one Sanmathi (52) R/o Mayeerody Macchina village Belthangady Taluk in filthy language and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

- A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 18/11/2008 at 1030 hrs on credible information DySP Excise and Lottery Detention Squade Western Range Mangalore along with staff conducted a raid on an open place at Padpu Boloor village Mangalore Taluk seized (15 ltrs) of illicit liquor worth Rs.17, 000/ by arresting Roni D’ Souza (30) R/o Boloor village Mangalore Taluk who was selling these liquor illegally there. The case handed over to Urwa Police for conducting further investigation.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 18/11/2008 at 0830 hrs one Baby (45) accidentally slipped into a Shambhavi river near Ice Factory at Bappanadu village Mangalore Taluk while walking near her house and died by drowning.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 18/11/2008 at 1145 hrs at Machar Ujire village Belthangady Taluk one Mehasabu (23) accidentally fell down from the building while working in the building and got seriously injured. Further he succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.
