- A case under Seizure of Stolen property along with M.V. Theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 27/11/2008 at 0830 hrs HC 1167, PC 899 and PC 311 of Mangalore South PS while on duty at Mahakalipadpu Jeppu Mangalore apprehended one Mohammad Iliyas (24) R/o Goodinabali Panemangalore village Bantwal Taluk who was found moving suspiciously in a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-3557 at Mahakalipadpu Jeppu Mangalore. On enquiry it was learnt that the motorcycle has been stolen somewhere else. Accordingly a case was registered in Mangalore South PS and the motorcycle was seized. The worth of seized motorcycle yet to be estimated.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 27/11/2008 at 0915 hrs near Azizuddin road at Mangalore one unknown rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-6374 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-427. As a result rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-427 one Harish Kumar sustained grievous injuries.

On 26/11/2008 at 1930 hrs accused Mohammad Isaq, Mohammad Hanif, Hasanabba, Nazeer, Hasir, Siraj and Niyaz forming into unlawful assembly at Baldabettu Pudu village Bantwal Taluk and abused Haroon Rashid R/o Baldabettu Pudu village Bantwal Taluk, Mohammad Azal and Imran in filthy language near thier house and assaulted them by hand and with wooden stick and with sword and also gave life threat to them owing to trivial issue.

On 27/11/2008 at 1300 hrs accused Ravoof, Ismail, Sulaiman and Abdul Lathif criminally restrained Hussain R/o Baldabettu Maripalla Pudu village Bantwal Taluk and his wife Ramlath near thier house and abused them in filthy language and assaulted Hussain by hand and with stone also gave life threat to him owing to civil dispute between them.

On 27/11/2008 at 2030 hrs accused three Unknown persons came in auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-4141 and criminally restrained Janardhana (23) R/o Narimogru Munduru village Puttur Taluk and Ganesh at Purushakatte Narimogru village Puttur Taluk and assaulted Janardhana with knife and also gave life threat to them owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 01
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 27/11/2008 at 1230 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 30 to 35 yrs was found in Nethravathi river at Kaje Kalmanja village Belthangady Taluk. It seems to be a case of drowning.

- A case of Girl missing has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. In between 25/11/2008 at 2100 hrs and 26/11/2008 at 0300 hrs one Ashmitha (15) R/o Thumbe village Bantwal Taluk left her house and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
