  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 17/03/2007 at 1615 hrs at Kesargadde Beluvai village Mangalore Taluk one Wilfred Aranha driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-3024 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Rajesh (25) R/o Beluvai village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

  • A case under Causing death by negligence (sec 304A IPC) has been registered in Kavoor Police Station where in one Ramesha (35) R/o Irthadka Niddle village Belthangady Taluk was declared dead while under treatment on 17/03/2007 at 1345 hrs. The said Ramesha was seriously injured due to the negligence of operator of cement mixing machine one Ramanna on 02/03/2007 at 1800 hrs at Malemar Derebail village Mangalore Taluk and admitted to the Hospital. In this connection a case has already been registered in Kavoor Police Station.

Unnatural Death Report: 03

  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. One Archana (19) R/o Hoige Bazar Mangalore committed suicide by hanging in her house on 17/03/2007 at 1400 hrs owing to personal problem.
  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. In between 16/03/2007 at 1900 hrs and 17/03/2007 at 0900 hrs one Eliza Shanthees (75) R/o Niddodi village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to personal problem.
  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 06/03/2007 at 1700 hrs one Zainabhi (75) R/o Parliya house Bantwal Town sustained serious burn injuries while trying to light stove in her house. Further she was admitted to Fr. Muller Hospital Mangalore where she succumbed to her injuries while under treatment on 16/03/2007 at 1025 hrs.
