On 18/03/2007 in between 1315 hrs and 1345 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Usha M (42) R/o Dekkadu Munnur village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the back door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments and cash Rs. 24,000/ all in worth Rs. 1,94,000/.

In between 16/03/2007 at 2400 hrs and 17/03/2007 at 0600 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Mohammed Haneef (47) R/o 6th Block Kaptipalla village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the back door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments and cash all in worth Rs. 23,000/.

As a result one Suresh Kottari R/o Kodikal Mangalore rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-7524 sustained simple injuries.

As a result one Lakshmana Annasu Gurava (18) R/o Sangol Taluk Sholapur district Maharastra State cleaner of said lorry sustained simple injuries.

As a result motorcycle rider one Sunil Lobo (23) R/o Balanja Nalkoor village Belthangady Taluk sustained simple injuries.

No. KA-21-559 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-8401. Further Tempo driver lost control over his vehicle and dashed against an Electric Pole and a Pani Poori stall. As a result auto rickshaw and electric pole got damaged. No casualties reported.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 18/03/2007 at 0900 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 55 yrs was found near in Gurupura River at Current gudde Mangalore. It is seems to be a case of drowning.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 17/03/2007 at 2200 hrs one Sudhakara Poojary (34) R/o Surathkal Idya village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by jumping into the well near his house owing to personal problem.
