- A case under Murder has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 09/03/2007 at 2115 hrs near NMPT Main gate Panambur Mangalore two unknown persons assaulted one Mariadas (50) R/o Jyothi nagar Kunjathbail Mangalore Taluk with sword due which he was seriously injured and immediately shifted to KMC hospital for treatment. However he succumbed to his injuries on 10/03/2007 at 0345 hrs. The motive for the offence seems to be personal enmity.

- A case of MV theft has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. In between 24/02/2007 at 1800 hrs and 05/03/2007 at 1700 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a LML Vespa scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-H-5889 belonging to one Sudharshan Bhandarkar (41) R/o Baddakatte Bantwal Town that was parked in front of Karnataka Bank B.C. Road. The scooter is worth Rs. 5,000/.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 08/03/2007 at 1830 hrs at Kepu Kutrupadi village one Narayana Gowda B rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-120 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Maimuna (38) w/o Bhasha Shab R/o Hosuru Haveri district a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 08/03/2007 at 1745 hrs on NH 48 at Bramharakotlu Bantwal Taluk one Abdul Ghani driver of an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-7218 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a bridge. Further auto rickshaw driver lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Ashraf (27) R/o Thumbe village Bantwal Taluk, Abdul Rahiman and Thafi who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 09/03/2007 at 0730 hrs on NH 48 at Kalladka Golthmajalu village Bantwal Taluk one Godwin Prashanth driver of a tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-1981 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-758. As a result motorcycle rider one Ibrahim (48) R/o Kadaba village Puttur Taluk sustained simple injuries.

- A case mischief along with Prevention of damage to public property Act 1984 has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station on the complaint of one Yashodha B.K. President of Narikombu village Panchayath. In the complaint it is alleged that on 08/03/2007 at 2300 hrs accused Shivashankar and two other persons damaged the small bridge at Arasanakatte Narikombu village Bantwal Taluk.
