• A case of Robbery has been registered in Ullal Police Station relating to an incident of chain snatching. On 29/03/2007 at 1330 hrs near Ajjinadka Kotekaru village Mangalore Taluk, one Asha (34) was on her way to home by walk. At that time one unknown person came and approached her and forcefully closed her face. Further he snatched the gold chain from her neck and ran away. The value of the property is Rs. 20,000/.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 28/03/2007 at 1950 hrs at Lower Bendoor Mangalore one Dr. Aravinda Rao driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-MA-77 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-5758. As a result scooter rider one Sharmila (27) R/o Maroli Kaikamba Mangalore sustained grievous injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 29/03/2007 at 2230 hrs at Bunts hostel Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-8290 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-R-6168. As a result motorcycle rider Nagaraja Shetty and pillion rider of said motorcycle Pradeep Kumar M. (27) R/o Vontikatte Moodabidre Mangalore Taluk sustained simple injuries. The bus driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 29/03/2007 at 1300 hrs at Nandanapura Kavoor village Mangalore Taluk Dayananda driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-4349 and Ramachandra driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-7090 drove their vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against each other. As a result Bhaskar Shetty (46) R/o Ananda Nagara Kavoor village Mangalore Taluk, Mamatha, Ananda, Vasu, Thimmappa Salian and Kamalaksha who were traveling in the bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-4349 sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 29/03/2007 at 1345 hrs at Ucchila Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-4627 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-PC-4959. As a result three passengers who were traveling in the said bus sustained simple injuries.

On 29/03/2007 at 1730 hrs on NH 48 at Kotelu bridge Uppinangady Town Puttur Taluk one Venkatesh Achar driver of Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-01-M-6751 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-30-H-4716. As a result scooter rider one Basheer (22) R/o Kodimbadi village Puttur Taluk and pillion rider of said scooter one Siddique sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 29/03/2007 at 1730 hrs on NH 48 at Kotelu bridge Uppinangady Town Puttur Taluk one Basheer rider of scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-30-H-4716 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-01-M-6751. As a result scooter rider Basheer and pillion rider of said scooter sustained simple injuries.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthanagady Police Station. On 29/03/2007 at 0830 hrs one Arun Kumar (26) R/o Matthikere Bangalore accidentally slipped into the Nethravathi river at Snanagatta Dharmasthala while taking bath and died due drowning.
  
• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 28/03/2007 at 2130 hrs one Premalatha (26) R/o Kattadabari Markanja village Sullia Taluk consuming poison in her house owing to personal problem. Further she was admitted to the Govt. hospital at Sullia where she was declared dead while under treatment on same day at 2045 hrs.
