On 24/03/2007 in between 0330 hrs and 0430 hrs five unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Raghava (66) R/o 2nd cross Mannagudda Mangalore by cutting the window grills and assaulted Raghava with iron rod and robbed gold ornaments (200 grams), a mobile set and cash Rs 5,000/ all in worth Rs. 1,60,000/.

- A case under Burglary has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On the intervening night of 23-24/03/2007 some unknown culprits gained entry into shop at Ishwaramangala Nettanige Mudnur village Puttur Taluk belonging to one Vittala Shetty (39) by removing the roof tiles and committed theft of cash Rs.18,000/.

- A case under Criminal restraint, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 22/03/2007 at 0945 hrs accused Kunjiyakka, Ammani @ Krishnaveni, Dayananda and Vijayalakshmi criminally restrained one Indira (28) R/o Motte Devachalla village Sullia Taluk near her house and abused her in filthy language and assaulted her with wooden stick and sickle and also gave life threat to her owing to trivial issue.

On 22/03/2007 at 0900 hrs near Wenlock hospital Mangalore one Shrinivasa driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-4266 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KL-11-U-6781. As a result motorcycle rider one Sunil Kumar R/o Railway quarters Mangalore and pillion rider his wife sustained simple injuries.

On 23/03/2007 at 1630 hrs accused Thayinhi, Ameer, Hameed, Abbas, and Ameer forming into an unlawful assembly at Peradka Sampaje village and criminally restrained one Kunhimmu (46) R/o Goodka Sampaje village and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand also gave life threat owing to personal enmity.

- A case under Hurt has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 23/03/2007 at 1300 hrs one Nawaz M. Salethadka Kasaragod who was accused in a case of Mangalore South PS was taken for producing before the Hon’ble CJM Ist Court Lalbagh Mangalore. Since the trial was posted for another date the accused sat outside the court during which time he assaulted one Saiju (23) R/o K.C. Nagara Kasaragod district Kerala State with handcuff owing to personal enmity.

On 23/03/2007 at 2200 hrs accused Ummar B.A., Kunhammu and Abdul Rahiman criminally restrained one Hammed R/o Gunadka, Sampaje village Sullia Taluk near Peradka Sampaje and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand also gave life threat owing to personal enmity.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 23/03/2007 at 0715 hrs one male dead body was found at Divya Deepa apartment at Bejai Mangalore who was working as watchman in the said apartment. The death seems to be due to some illness.
