- A case under Robbery has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 28/03/2007 at 0245 hrs one Ahammed (45) gained entry into the house belonging to one Naseema (27) R/o Belaringe Kinya village Mangalore Taluk by removing the roof tiles and took away gold ornaments worth Rs. 40,000/ by assaulting her (Naseem's) mother-in- law one Isabi (60) with knife.

- A case under Burglary has been registered in Vittal Police Station. In between 27/03/2007 at 2200 hrs and 28/03/2007 at 0100 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Krishna Bhat P. (48) R/o Anugraha Nilaya Kanyana village Bantwal Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments, a mobile hand set and cash Rs. 1,950/ all in worth Rs. 21,800/.

- A case under House trespass, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 27/03/2007 at 1830 hrs accused Herald Maclin Maben, Benjamin Maben and Robert Maclin Maben criminally trespassed into the house of one Rebeka Maben R/o Kudroli Mangalore and assaulted her and her daughter Ani Sara Maben by hand and also gave life threat to them owing to family dispute.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 26/03/2007 at 1630 hrs at Bakimaru Bantwal Taluk one Albert Monthero driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-6075 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Ashfak a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 24/03/2007 at 1630 hrs at Kuduraya Nidle village Belthangady Taluk one Nagaraja B. driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-13-F-1479 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an Eicher Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-21-7246. As a result driver of Eicher Lorry Mohhamad Rafiq (28) R/o Janatha colony Nelyadi village, cleaner of Eicher lorry Aithappa and Abdul Jabbar who were traveling in the said lorry sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 27/03/2007 at 1745 hrs at Darbe Puttur Town one unknown motorcycle rider drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Gauramma (75) R/o Darbe Puttur Town a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.

- A case under Criminal breach of trust by servant along with Cheating has been registered in Barke Police Station on the complaint of Lokesh Shetty Manager Sri Ram Chits Pvt. Ltd. Hampankatta Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Sudheer, Jyothi R/o Padavinangady Mangalore, Rekha R/o Shanthi Nagar Kavoor and Shushanth R/o Shediguri Mangalore who were working as agents of the said company committed criminal breach of trust to the company by not paying the amount of Rs 3,62,469/ and cheated the company.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 27/03/2007 in between 1300 hrs and 1400 hrs one Kamala (70) R/o Ujire village Belthangady Taluk committed suicide by hanging in her house owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 27/03/2007 at 1330 hrs one Kushalappa Gowda (50) R/o Mandekolu village Sullia Taluk accidentally fell down from the coconut tree while removing coconuts and got seriously injured near his house. Further he was admitted to Govt. hospital Sullia where he was declared dead while under treatment on the same day.
Missing Persons: 01
- A case of Woman missing has been registered in Sullia Police Station. One Seethamma (50) w/o Gopala R/o Thodikana village Sullia Taluk left her house on 25/03/2007 at 0800 hrs and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
