- A case of intent to outraging the modesty of woman (sec 354 IPC) along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 23/03/2007 at 1100 hrs one Harish (35) R/o Bokkapatna Bengre Mangalore came to the residence of Anupama (20) R/o Bokkapatna Bengre Mangalore and thereby tried to outrage her modesty by pulling her hand and also gave life threat to her.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 24/03/2007 at 1130 hrs near State Bank Mangalore one unknown driver of auto rickshaw drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Balakrishna Pai (57) R/o Pandeshwara Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The auto rickshaw driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 24/03/2007 at 1130 hrs at Neerakatte Bajathur village Puttur Taluk one Mujibul Rahiman driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-17-A-383 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-9184. As a result Nazerath R/o Pilar Mangalore Taluk and Nazia who were traveling in the said car sustained grievous injuries.

- A case under Criminal restraint, Hurt along with Criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 24/03/2007 at 1450 hrs three unknown persons came in a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-1045 and stopped KSRTC Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2177 at Pudu village Bantwal Taluk and abused Shiva Shankar the driver of said bus and Hasanabba (41) R/o Nekkiladi Puttur village conductor of said bus in filthy language and also assaulted them with stone owing to dispute on overtaking of the bus.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On the night of 23/03/2007 one Ayisha (27) R/o Kallige village Bantwal Taluk committed suicide by hanging in her house owing personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. One Kaveri (54) R/o Panemangalore village Bantwal Taluk consumed poison on the night of 13/03/2007 owing to personal problem. She was admitted to Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where she was declared dead while under treatment on 24/03/2007 at 1345 hrs.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Vittal Police Station. One Monappa Gowda R/o Netlamudnuru village Bantwal Taluk consumed poison on 24/03/2007 at 1930 hrs owing to personal problem. He was admitted to Mahaveera Hospital at Puttur where he was declared dead while under treatment on 25/03/2007 at 0330 hrs.

- A case of Man missing has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. One Srinivasa (43) R/o Attavara Mangalore left his house on 05/03/2007 at 0900 hrs along with his son Akshaya Moolya (14) and did not return to his house there after. They have been found missing since then.
