- A case under Burglary has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On the intervening night of 21-22/03/2007 some unknown culprits gained entry into the Government Higher Primary School at Aryapu village by breaking the door lock and committed theft of a gas cylinder. The stolen property is worth Rs. 1,000/.

- A case under Servant theft has been registered in Urwa Police Station. In between 20/01/2007 and 22/03/2007 one Arokya Mary Pinto (18) who was working in the house belonging to one Kalavathi P. Suvarna R/o Samruddhi house Bejai Mangalore committed theft of gold ornaments worth Rs. 32, 000/ from the Almera of the same house .
- A case under Ordinary theft has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On the night of 07/03/2007 accused Rashid @ Basheer (20) R/o Indiranagara Puttur Taluk committed theft of arecanuts worth Rs. 2,400/ that was kept outside the house belonging to one Mohana (35) R/o Alangaru Marpadi village Mangalore Taluk. The accused Rashid has been arrested and sent for judicial custody.

- A case under Criminal restraint, Cruelty by husband and his relatives along with Hurt has been registered in Vittal Police Station on the complaint of one Nabeesa (24) w/o Abdul Kunci R/o Mittur Idkidu village. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Abdul Kunhi (husband) and his relative Hakim gave physical and mental harassment to Nabeesa to bring more dowry and on 21/03/2007 at 1200 hrs accused Hakim criminally restrained her father Moidu Kunhi at Mittur Puttur Taluk and assaulted him by hand.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station where in one Abdul Rahiman (50) R/o Kuntepadavu Permude village Mangalore Taluk has been declared dead while under treatment on 22/03/2007 at 1635 hrs. The said Abdul Rahiman was seriously injured by a motorcycle in a road traffic accident on 21/03/2007 at 1800 hrs at Permude city Mangalore Taluk and admitted to the Hospital. In this connection a case has already been registered in Bajpe Police Station.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 21/03/2007 at 1345 hrs at Avery junction Mangalore one Ramesh driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-8356 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Kinetic scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-8356. As a result Kinetic scooter rider one Bharath Kumar M (40) R/o Lower Bendoor Mangalore sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 22/03/2007 at 1545 hrs on NH 17 at Kottarachowki Mangalore one Chaman Sab R/o Byadagi Haveri district driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-40-7776 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-9274. As a result motorcycle rider Naveen and pillion rider of said motorcycle Nishchal sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 21/03/2007 at 2130 hrs near Haleyangady junction Haleyangdy village Mangalore Taluk one Subbanna Shetty driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-01-B-7491 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Kumara (45) R/o Thokuru Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

(20) R/o Savanoor village Puttur Taluk, Manoj Kumar Rai and Raghunatha Rai with Chair owing to personal enmity.

Unnatural Death Report: 03
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 21/03/2007 at 1600 hrs one Rukmaya Poojary (60) R/o Sajipa Munnur village Bantwal Taluk accidentally fell down from his bicycle at Sudekatte Marnabailu Bantwal Taluk and got seriously injured. He was admitted to Fr. Muller Hospital Mangalore where he was declared dead while under treatment on 22/03/2007 at 0625 hrs.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. In between 21/03/2007 at 0700 hrs and 22/03/2007 at 1600 hrs one Leelavathi (33) R/o Kula village Bantwal Taluk committed suicide by jumping into the pond at Shera Kodippady village owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. One Rajendran S. (51) R/o Surakya house Kanyadi village Belthangady Taluk was injured due to snake bite near his house on 21/03/2007 at 1930 hrs. He was admitted to Govt. hospital at Belthangady Taluk where he was declared dead while under treatment on the same day at 2215 hrs.
Missing Persons: 01
- A case of Woman and Child missing has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. One Naseema (21) w/o Muzib R/o 6th Block Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk left her house on 22/03/2007 at 1500 hrs along with her child Rinsad (01) and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
