• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 06/03/2007 at 2115 hrs on NH 17 near KPT Mangalore one driver of Tipper Lorry bearing Reg. No. CNO-9988 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-8377. As a result motorcycle rider one Naveen Chandra R/o Bejai Mangalore sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 06/03/2007 at 1800 hrs at Kapikad Bejai Mangalore one unknown driver of Indica car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-950 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a new motorcycle. As a result motorcycle rider one Vaibhav (19) R/o Derebail Mangalore sustained simple injuries. The car driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 05/03/2007 at 1200 hrs at Ujire junction Belthangady Taluk one Ummar driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-2989 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Joyee Kutti (50) R/o Puduvettu village Belthangady Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 07/03/2007 at 1310 hrs at Karmala cross Puttur Town one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-9496 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-6229. As a result one Chethan K. R. (22) R/o Puttur Taluk rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-6229 sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 07/03/2007 at 1330 hrs at Amchinadka Madnoor village Puttur Taluk one Kalandar I.K. driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-8597 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Vishwanatha Acharya (48) R/o Madnoor village Puttur Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

On 07/03/2007 at 0820 hrs accused Mohammed Siraj, Abdul Rahiman and Rafique criminally restrained an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-8502 driven by one Shamshuddin (31) R/o Nayyatharpu village Belthangady Taluk at Jarige Bailu Nayyatharpu Belthangady Taluk and abused him in filth language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to personal enmity.
  
• A case under Criminal restraint along with Hurt has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 06/03/2007 at 1930 hrs at Pera Majalu Shiradi village accused Krishnappa, Shankara, Sheena and Yelyanna Gowda criminally restrained one Ananda (39) R/o Kolpe Kombaru village and assaulted him by hand and with stone owing to personal enmity.
  
• A case under Criminal restraint along with Hurt has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 07/03/2007 at 1345 hrs accused Vishwantha Acharya, Goplakrishna and 2 others criminally restrained a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-8597 driven by one Kalandar I.K. (22) R/o Devachalla village Sullia Taluk near Amchinadka Madnoor village Puttur Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand. The Motive seems to be that the car driver had earler dashed his vehicle to one Vishwantha a pedestrian at Amchinandka Puttur Taluk.
