In between 01/03/2007 at 1800 hrs and 02/03/2007 at 0100 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Shivananda Kamath (42) R/o Kittabettu Eruvailu village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the back door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments all in worth Rs. 1,05,000/.

On 01/03/2007 in between 0730 hrs and 2030 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Purushothama (30) R/o Karenki Badgayedapadvu village Mangalore by breaking the back door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments and cash all in worth Rs. 24,500/.

On 24/02/2007 in between 0930 hrs and 1630 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the room at Sangam building Sri Ram Pete Sullia Taluk belonging to one Manjegowda L.P. - A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 03/02/2007 at 1400 hrs near Bejai bus stand Mangalore one Abdul Khadar driver of Tipper Lorry bearing Reg. No. AP-36-T-7046 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Kinetic Honda scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-02-K-1431. As a result scooter rider one Sunil Pinto R/o Urwa Market Mangalore sustained serious injuries. Further he succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 02/03/2007 at 1715 hrs at Hampankatte Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-8388 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-02-ML-1 driven by one Krishnananda Shetty (68) R/o Kankanady Mangalore. As a result the car got damaged.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 02/03/2007 at 1145 hrs on NH 17 at Panambur Mangalore one Arif (21) driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-9639 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-8799. As a result motorcycle rider Wilfred D’Souza (40) R/o Idya village Surathkal and Richard D’Souza pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

In the complaint it is alleged that accused J.L Nathan (67) R/o J.C. Nagar Bangalore, Ravi J. R/o Thiruvelluru Tamilnadu, Sabastian L.N. and Dr. Anandaraj S. R/o Tamilnadu took grant of cash of Rs. 12,50,000 from the complainant by showing the forged blueprint of the building and cheated the complainant.

On 02/03/2007 at 1800 hrs one Ramesha R/o Nidle village Belthangady Taluk while washing the Cement mixing machine at Malemaru bridge Derebail village Mangalore taluk, the operator of the said machine Ramanna started the machine negligently due which Ramesha sustained grievous injuries.

On 02/03/2007 at 1700 hrs PI North PS along with staff conducted a raid on Room No 4 of Sujatha hotel at K.S. Road Mangalore and arrested Madhava (35) R/o Kotekaru Mangalore and Sowmya (27) R/o Manjanady Mangalore who were soliciting for prostitution.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. One Raju Poojary (48) R/o Tharidapadpu Valpady village Moodabidre Mangalore taluk consumed poison on 01/03/2007 in between 2100 hrs and 2130 hrs in his house owing personal problem. Further he was admitted to Karkala Nursing home were he was declared dead while under treatment on the same day at 2245 hrs.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 02/03/2007 in between 1800 hrs and 1930 hrs one unknown person aged about 50 to 55 yrs accidentally fell down while walking near Panambur circle Mangalore and died on the spot.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On the night of 01/03/2007 one unknown male aged 40 to 45 yrs committed suicide by hanging near Hanchikatte Kavalapadur village Bantwal Taluk owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 02/03/2007 in between 1100 hrs and 1200 hrs one Venkamma (60) R/o Naganamajalu Pervaje village Sullia Taluk accidentally slipped into the river near her house and died due drowning.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. One Rajesh (35) R/o Soojikallu Akashabhavan Mangalore consumed poison in his house on 02/03/2007. Further he was admitted to Wenlock hospital were he was declared dead while under treatment on the same day.

- A case of Woman missing has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. One Gracy (27) w/o Raju R/o Miyyaru Kalanja village Belthangady Taluk went to Ujire on 02/03/2007 at 1730 hrs and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
