- A case under MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 19/03/2007 at 1730 hrs PI Mangalore South PS apprehended three persons viz Nasir Basheer Sheik (32) R/o Malnad Mumbai, Vikram Hari Singh (29) R/o Virar Mumbai and Mohammed Wasim (23) R/o Ramanagar Shimoga who were found moving suspiciously in a Tata Indigo car at Dakke Mangalore. On enquiry it was learnt that the car has been stolen somewhere else. Accordingly a case was registered in South PS and the car was seized. The seized car is worth Rs. 6,50,000/.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 19/03/2007 at 1030 hrs at Kadri Mangalore one driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-2376 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-J-5746. As a result Scooter rider one Raj Prasad (36) R/o Matadakani Mangalore sustained simple injuries. The car driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 18/03/2007 at 2230 hrs at Gandhinagara Kavoor village Mangalore one Naveen driver of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-2994 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Madhava Karkera (32) R/o Shantinagara Kavoor Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

No. MH-09-Q-6710 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against Lorry bearing Reg. No. KL-05-Q-980 from behind that was parked near roadside belonging to one Saji R/o Pajikad Taluk Kottayam district Kerala State. As a result one Shekar driver of Tipper sustained simple injuries.

On 15/03/2007 at 1400 hrs on NH 48 at Talapady Baikandi Bantwal Town one Ashraf rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-10-W-3488 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which vehicle capsized. As a result one Rahman (25) R/o Thumbe village Bantwal Taluk pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 18/03/2007 at 2045 hrs at Mundaje Belthangady Taluk one Gopala driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-8945 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Gopala (26) driver of said auto rickshaw, Leelavathi (45), Gopala Naik (40) R/o Mundaje village Belthangady Taluk, Shilpa (18) who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

On 19/03/2007 at 0100 hrs accused Babu @ Sundara, Guruvappa and Prakash criminally trespassed into the land belonging to one Narayana (28) R/o Karopady village Bantwal Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and with sickle and also gave life threat to him owing to personal enmity.

On 18/03/2007 at 1200 hrs accused Jayantha and Harishchandra criminally restrained one Jagadeesh (37) R/o Kerpala Sullia Town at Thalur Mavinakatte Devachalla village and abused him in filthy language and also assaulted him by hand owing to trivial issue.
