In between 04/03/2007 at 1900 hrs and 05/03/2007 at 1900 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the Sri Vyaagra Chamudeshwari Temple by breaking the door lock and committed theft of ‘Kanike Hundi’ all in worth Rs. 2,500/.

No. KA-19-S-1518 belonging to one Abdul Gafoor (41) R/o Arekala Ullal village Mangalore Taluk. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 22,000/.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 05/03/2007 at 1105 hrs near Yenopoya hospital Mangalore one Ravi driver of an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-407 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Honda Activa scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-8346 driven by Chitaranjan Bolar (40) R/o Bajal Mangalore. Further auto rickshaw driver lost control over his vehicle and dashed against Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-274 due which the auto rickshaw capsized. As a result the auto rickshaw driver Ravi and a passenger in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries. Besides all the three vehicles got damaged.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 05/03/2007 at 1745 hrs near PVS circle Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-6996 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-J-274 from behind. As a result motorcycle rider one Narayana Prabhu M (45) R/o Kadri Mangalore sustained simple injuries.
- A case under Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 03/03/2007 at 1900 hrs at Pandeshwara Mangalore one unknown rider of Kinetic Honda scooter drove his vehicle in rash and negligent manner and dashed against pedestrians Padmaja Balan (33) R/o Pandeshwara Mangalore and her child and caused them simple injuries. The scooter rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

On 04/03/2007 at 1300 hrs at Thippepadavu Konaje village Mangalore Taluk one Usman rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-5341 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Albert Walter Lasardo (37) R/o Moodanadugodu village Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

No. KA-19-V-5795 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a result pillion rider of said motorcycle one Kamaluddin (20) R/o Kumpanamajalu Pudu village Bantwala Taluk sustained simple injuries.
- A case under Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 05/03/2007 at 1130 hrs at Y.M.K. Gate Aranthodu village Sullia Taluk one unknown driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-12-A-3777 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Kinetic Honda scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-1521. As a result motorcycle rider one Venkappa K.J. (57) R/o Sampaje village Sullia Taluk and pillion rider his wife Chandravathi K.V. sustained simple injuries. The bus driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

On 05/03/2007 at 1700 hrs at Beluvai Moodabidre Mangalore Taluk one Dhananjaya rider of new motorcycle drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Jeep bearing Reg. No. CNH-3962. As a result motorcycle rider Dhananjaya and pillion rider his brother Prasad (20) R/o Mudaru village Mangalore Taluk sustained grievous injuries.

- A case under Causing death due to negligence (sec 304 A) has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 05/03/2007 at 1100 hrs one Chinna Babu (35) who was working on the roof of the Godown at N.M.P.T. Mangalore accidentally fell down to ground and got serious injuries due to the negligence of Dennis Lobo and Yathish Rai. Further he was admitted at A.J. hospital Mangalore were he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on the same day.
