• A case under Criminal restraint, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 31/03/02007 at 1730 hrs one Anni Poojary criminally restrained one Jayanthi (29) R/o Neerkaje Kepu village Bantwal Taluk near her house and abused her in filthy language and assaulted her with sickle and also gave life threat to her owing to trivial issue.

• A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 01/04/2007 at 0330 hrs on NH-17 near Talapady bridge Talapay village Mangalore Taluk one Venkatachala driver of Tanker bearing Reg. No. KA-01-AC-7209 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-3859. As a result Ahamed Kabeer (28) R/o Ullal village Mangalore Taluk driver of auto rickshaw, Khatheejamma (45), Asma (50), Sakeera (12), Mohammed Musamil (06), Ahamed Razim (04) and Tayeep (07) who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries. Further Khateejamma (45), Mohammed Musamil (06) and Ahamed Razim (04) succumbed to their injuries while on the way to hospital.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 29/03/2007 at 1600 hrs near Valencia Mangalore one driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-35-A-4004 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Antony (40) R/o Jeppu Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 31/03/2007 at 1730 hrs on NH 17 near Barebail Mangalore one driver of Matiz car bearing Reg. No. MH-04-Y-7912 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-3349 driven by one Mohammed Mazar Ali (21) R/o Shantinagara Mangalore. As a result Akash and Prajwal who were traveling in the said Maruti car sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 31/03/2007 at 1400 hrs near Bunts hostel Mangalore one Nithin rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-K-4713 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-5374 driven by one Thukarama Purusha (32) R/o Shakthinagar Mangalore. As a result motorcycle rider Nithin and pillion rider of said motorcycle Rahul sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 31/03/2007 at 1000 hrs at Bjape Town Mangalore Taluk one Rohith D’Souza driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-7170 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-J-5765. As a result motorcycle rider one Purandara (30) R/o Malali Badagulipady village Mangalore Taluk sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 31/03/2007 at 1900 hrs at Beetige Charmadi village Belthangady Taluk one Noushad rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-2544 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a bicycle. As a result bicycle rider one Charan Kumar (17) Charmadi village Belthangady Taluk and motorcycle rider Noushad sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 29/03/2007 at 2130 hrs at Shanthiangady cross Bantwal Taluk one Abdul Latif driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-N-3477 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Mohammad Asif (21) R/o Shanthiangady Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 31/03/2007 at 1530 hrs one dead body of Rama (18) R/o Puduvettu village Belthangady Taluk was found in Neriya River at Puduvettu village Belthangady Taluk. Cause of death is still to be ascertained.
  
• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 30/03/2007 at 1800 hrs one Shashi @ Shashidhara (36) R/o Paangala Dharmasthala village Belthangady Taluk consumed poison owing to personal problem and was admitted to Justice K.S.Hegde hospital Mangalore. Further he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on 31/03/2007 at 1715 hrs.
