- A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 25/04/2007 at 1300 hrs one Ramesha Bagalakote committed theft of 5 packets of Break Liner worth Rs. 2,500/ from KSRTC workshop premise and was caught by Security staff. The same was seized by Madusudhan Naik Security Inspector, KSRTC workshop at Kuntikana Mangalore Taluk and handed over to Urwa PS along with this complaint.

- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On the night of 22-23/04/2007 some unknown culprits committed theft of a Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-3299 belonging to one Imthiyaz Hameed (30) R/o Jalalbhag road Kotekaru village Deralakatte that was parked in front of his house. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 49,000/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 26/04/2007 at 1415 hrs at Parima Kaliya village Belthangady Taluk one Adam driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-B-8374 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which bus fell into a roadside ditch. As a result Absa and Haseena who were traveling the bus sustained serious injures and died on the spot. Further 20 to 30 passengers who were traveling in the said bus also sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 26/02/2007 at 1130 hrs at Badakodi Sarve village Puttur Taluk one Harish Gowda driver of Jeep bearing Reg. No. CTX 3158 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-A-6408. As a result motorcycle rider one Mohammed Shareef (20) R/o Savanoor village Puttur Taluk sustained grievous injuries. Further he was admitted to hospital at Puttur where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on the same day at 1200 hrs. The jeep driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station where in one Thaniyappa (60) R/o Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk was declared dead while under treatment on 26/04/2007 at 2210 hrs. The said Thaniyappa was seriously injured by an auto rickshaw in a road traffic accident on 22/04/2007 at 1430 hrs at Ranipura Munnur village Mangalore Taluk and admitted to the Hospital at Mangalore. In this connection a case has already been registered in Ullal Police Station.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 25/04/2007 at 2215 hrs at KPT junction Mangalore one unknown driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. MH-04-CG-2919 drove his vehicle in rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-5083 driven by one Raghu Shetty R/o Alike Bantwal Taluk. As a result car got damaged. No casualties reported. The lorry driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 26/04/2007 at 2300 hrs on NH 17 near Kotekar Shringeri Matta Kotekaru village Mangalore Taluk one unknown driver of Indica car drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KL-14-F-9431. As a result motorcycle rider Raj @ Rajesh and pillion rider Mithun Shetty (29) R/o Kolya Kotekaru village Mangalore Taluk sustained simple injuries. The car driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 26/04/2007 at 0710 hrs on NH 48 at Dasakodi Balthila village one Philip driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-21-P-3777 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an Electric pole. Further driver of bus lost control over his vehicle and fell into a roadside ditch. As a result one Harishchandra cleaner of the said bus sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 24/04/2007 at 1545 hrs at Kaphina Bagilu Kowkaradi village one Nithyananda Kini rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-7171 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Abdulla S.K. (50) R/o Perabe village Puttur Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. Further motorcycle rider lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a result pillion rider of said motorcycle Gopala Krishna also sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 26/04/2007 at 2115 hrs at Gantal Katte Moodabidre Mangalore Taluk, Ummar Farooque a passenger of the bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-9797 fell down from the bus and sustained simple injuries while getting down as the driver of bus moved the bus in a negligent manner. Further the bus driver escaped from the place without stopping his bus.

- A case under House trespass, Outraging the modesty of women, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 22/04/2007 at 2100 hrs accused Devi Prasad Shetty, Raghunatha Naik, Rajesh Malli came in a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-5471 and criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Savithri (45) R/o Pade house Ukkuda Vittal Town and abused her in filthy language and tried to outrage her modesty by pulling her hand and assaulted Jagadeesha with hand and also gave life threat to them owing to financial dispute.

- A case under Affray has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 26/04/2007 at 1300 hrs accused Krishna Upadyaya K.V, Samsuddin and Nithin picked up quarel and stared fighting over a trivail issue in public place in front of Puttur Centre Puttur Town. The Police arrested the accused and took up a case under affray.

- A case under the Essential commodities Act has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 26/04/2007 on credible information Elias Lobo Inspector, Food and Civil Supplies Mangalore along with Mangalore South Police conducted a raid on a shop at Yemmekere Mangalore and seized 16 LPG cylinders (5 filled, 11 Empty) and a weighing machine. The owner of shop one Abdul Aziz @ Kunhji Monu R/o Yemmekere Mangalore however has managed to escape from the scene. It is learnt that the accused used to divert domestic LPG and illegally fill the private cylinders at higher rates and make profit.

- A case of Boys missing has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 18/04/2007 at 0930 hrs Vinitha (17) R/o Pranthya village Moodabidre Mangalore and Uppendra V. Prabhu (16) went to P.K. computer at Moodabidre and did not return their house there after. They were have been found missing since then.
