• A case of MV Theft has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 08/04/2007 in between 1500 hrs and 1630 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-5497 belonging to one Shrikantha B. Shetty R/o Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk that was parked near roadside at Korikatte Meenakaliya Panambur Mangalore Taluk. The Maruti car is worth Rs. 86,666/.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 07/04/2007 at 2245 hrs at Balmatta Mangalore one unknown driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-5358 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Q-7151. As a result motorcycle rider one Ivan Sequera (26) R/o Kankanady Mangalore sustained simple injuries. The auto rickshaw driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 05/04/2007 at 1600 hrs at Galimukka Nettanige Mudnur village Puttur Taluk one Shivarama driver of jeep bearing Reg. No. KL-14-A-1838 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another jeep bearing Reg. No. KL-14-B-3020. As a result one Suhara (28) w/o Yousuf R/o Mulleria Kasaragod district Kerala State who was traveling in the jeep bearing Reg. No. KL-14-B-3020 sustained grievous injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 08/04/2007 at 1725 hrs at Kaudicharu Ariyadka village Puttur Taluk one unknown driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-M-4042 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Jagadisha (28) R/o Ariyadka village Puttur Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The car driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 08/04/2007 at 1300 hrs on NH 48 at Kolpe Konalu village Puttur Taluk one Lokesh driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-13-A-421 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost his control over his vehicle due which vehicle capsized. As a result one Abbas K.A. (32) R/o Kirugundha Moodigere Taluk and Hayath who was traveling in the said lorry sustained grievous injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 08/04/2007 at 0945 hrs at Kolya Vittal Town Bantwal Taluk one Rathna Kumar driver of Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-21-9543 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No KA-19-W-352. As a result motorcycle rider Ansar (20) R/o Meginapete Bantwal Taluk and pillion rider Ahmmad B. (30) sustained simple injuries.

• A case under Hurt has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 08/04/2007 at 0800 hrs accused Kalyani, Jayanthi, Krishnappa and Sanjeeva abused one Poovappa (27) R/o Chikkmudnur village Puttur Town in filthy language near his house and also assaulted him with iron rod owing to civil dispute.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 08/04/2007 at 1700 hrs one Suresh Naik (29) accidentally slipped into Nethravathi river at Manjalpadhe Sajipa Bantwal Taluk while fishing and died of drowning.
  
• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 08/04/2007 at 2400 hrs one Vivek Kumar fell sick while travelling in the bus near Uppinangady Puttur Taluk. Further he was admitted to hospital at Uppinagangdy where he was declared dead while under treatment on the same day.
