On 18/04/2007 in between 1100 hrs and 1400 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the Veera Hanuman Temple at Gollarakeri Mangalore and committed theft of 2.250 kgs of silver ornaments and cash Rs. 8,000/ all in worth Rs. 48,000/.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 17/04/2007 at 1400 hrs at Hampankatte Mangalore one unknown driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-4667 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MB-5000 driven by one Amaranath Bhandary (47) R/o Jayashree Gate Mangalore. As a result car got damaged. No causalities reported. The bus driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

On 16/04/2007 at 1700 hrs on NH 17 at Panambur Mangalore Taluk one Grecisias Monthero R/o Surathkal Mangalore Taluk one driver of Maruti omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-20-M-9496 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-7268. As a result motorcycle rider one Ravi Poojary (37) R/o Kote Soorinje village Mangalore Taluk sustained simple injuries and the motorcycle also got damaged.

No. KA-19-R-5674 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a bicycle. As a result bicycle rider one Zakeer sustained grievous injuries.

- A case of Man missing has been registered in Ullal Police Station. One Ummar Farooq (22) R/o Bagambila Deralakatte Mangalore Taluk left his house on 30/03/2007 at 1000 hrs and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
