- A case under Ordinary Theft has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On the intervening night of 18-19/04/2007 one Seetharama committed theft of ‘Kanike Hundi’ belonging to Sri Maha Ganapathi Temple at A. J. hospital compound Mangalore.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 19/04/2007 at 1645 hrs at Alampady cross Kowkarady village Puttur Taluk one Naanyappa G. driver of Tipper bearing Reg. No. KA-20-C-9729 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-5167. As a result motorcycle rider Emmanuel N.V. (65) sustained serious injuries and died on the spot. Further Clara (60) pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 18/04/2007 at 2130 hrs on NH 17 at Kulai village Mangalore Taluk one Durga Prasad Shetty driver of Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-6789 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a LPG Tanker bearing Reg. No. KA-21-6960 and a Tipper bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AC-6055. Further Maruti car driver and Tipper driver lost control over their vehicle due which both vehicles capsized. As a result Durga Prasad Shetty (32) R/o Haripade Kinnigoli Mangalore Taluk driver of said Maruti car and Yashoda (50) R/o Kinnigoli Mangalore Taluk who was traveling in the said Maurti car sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 18/04/2007 at 1715 hrs at Benke Subhashnagara Sajipa Muda village Bantwal Taluk one Mansur rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-3846 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Venkappa Poojary (60) R/o Benke Subhashnagara Sajipa Muda village Bantwal Talk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 19/04/2007 one Anil Kumar (18) R/o Meenakaliya Baikampady Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to personal problem.

- A case of Girl missing has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. One Yevujin (14) D/o Salu K. A. Kunjathodi Kukkala village Belthangady Taluk went to Poonjalkatte Belthangady Taluk on 12/04/2007 and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
- A case of Man missing has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. One Prakash Pereira (26) R/o Loojakodi Aralakodi village Bantwal Taluk left his house on 18/04/2007 at 0600 hrs and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
