  • A case under Burglary has been registered in Ullal Police Station. In between 30/03/2007 at 0300 hrs and 02/04/2007 at 0530 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Lipika Bhattacharya (30) R/o Pandith house Munnur village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the front door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments and cash Rs. 7, 000/ all in worth Rs. 22,000/.

  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 01/04/2007 at 1915 hrs at Kottara Chowki Mangalore one Devappa driver of Tipper bearing Reg. No. KA-35-2065 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-5642. As a result motorcycle rider one Kadhivaran (37) R/o Kottara Chowki Mangalore sustained simple injuries.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 02/04/2007 at 1200 hrs at Kalleri Dharmasthala village Belthangady Taluk one Munivenkatappa C.K driver of Scorpio car bearing Reg. No. KA-03-MF-9863 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a STD booth. As a result Shiva Kumar (27) R/o Dharmasthala village Belthangady Taluk and Vasantha (31) R/o Kallleri Dharmasthala village Belthangady Taluk who were standing near the STD booth sustained simple injuries.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 15/02/2007 at 1530 hrs at Adarsha nagar Nekkiladi village Belthangady Taluk one driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-21-3913 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-5942. As a result motorcycle rider Abdul Razak K.H (18) R/o Puthila village Belthangady Taluk and pillion rider one Yakub sustained grievous injuries.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 02/04/2007 at 1300 hrs Kallare Puttur Town one Alphons Mascharenhas driver of Jeep bearing Reg. No.KA-21-5480 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-1621. As a result Prashanth (24) R/o Punnapadi village Puttur Taluk pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 02/04/2007 at 1530 hrs at Salmara Chikkamudnur village Puttur Taluk one Balakrishna Naik driver of Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-21-2766 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing reg. No. KA-21-6881. As a result Narayana P (22) R/o Puttur Town and his sister Gauri (20) R/o Puttur Town who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

  • A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal Intimidation has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 02/04/2007 at 2215 hrs near Urwa Maidan Mangalore accused Vinaya Shetty, Sunil Uchila, Shivarama Mendon and Padmanabha Bantwal abused one Udaya M (22) R/o Bhaghavathi nagar Mangalore in filthy language, assaulted him with wooden stick and also gave life threat to him owing to financial dispute.
  • A case under Criminal restraint, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 02/04/2007 at 1130 hrs accused Rupesh, Chandrakantha, Manoj and another person criminally restrained one Sanni Antony (38) R/o Kakkinje village Belthangady Taluk near Mangaladevi Mangalore and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him with iron rod and soda bottle owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 03

  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 02/04/2007 at 1100 hrs one unidentified male dead body aged about 35 yrs to 40 yrs has been found in highly decomposed state near KISCO factory Panambur Mangalore. It seems to be a case of suicide by hanging.
  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 02/04/2007 at 1730 hrs one Jinnappa Naik (65) R/o Punacha village Bantwal Taluk was found dead near his house. The death seems to be due some illness.
  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 02/04/2007 before 1200 hrs one Venkappa Naik (45) R/o Yenthinadka Koila village committed suicide by consuming poison in his house owing to health problem.
