- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 27/04/2007 at 2330 hrs on NH 17 at Mukka Surahkal village Mangalore Taluk one Hithesh driver of Ambassador car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-874 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Roshan Pinto (21) R/o Thenka Yedapadavu village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries due which he died on the spot.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 27/04/2007 at 0715 hrs at Carstreet Mangalore one Nithesh rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-1098 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-8678. As a result one Fazal Hussain (35) R/o Bundar Mangalore rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-8678 sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 27/04/2007 at 1530 hrs at Balmatta Mangalore one unknown rider of Tipper lorry bearing Reg. No. AP-36-T-7046 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-4885 from behind. As a result motorcycle rider Riyaz (22) R/o Bannerukattte Puttur Taluk and pillion rider his brother Abdul Aziz sustained grievous injuries. The Tipper lorry driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 27/04/2007 at 0850 hrs on NH 17 at Kodikal cross Mangalore one driver of bus beairng Reg. No. KA-19-B-6633 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a 407 Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-20-4696 from behind due which Tempo driver one Jagadeesha lost control his vehicle and rammed to another bus Root No. 15 from the front. As a result 407 Tempo got damaged. No causulaties reported.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 17/04/2007 at 0900 hrs at Karaje Sajipa Moda village Bantwal Taluk one Ishwara driver of Kinetic Honda Scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-3241 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Sankappa (42) R/o Mani Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 27/04/2007 at 0700 hrs at Malladka Badagakajekaru village Bantwal Taluk one driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-6075 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result one Rama Naik who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 27/04/2007 at 1630 hrs at Kashibettu Lalila village Belthangady Taluk one Chandrashekara driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No.KA-19-F-2025 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AE-1000. As a result one Santhosh Kumar (31) R/o Chikkapete Gulpadi Kundapura and other passengers who were traveling in the both the bus sustained simple injuries.

In the complaint it is alleged that accused Abdul Fiz and Moidin A.C. taken a cash of 20,000/ from one Mohammed for sanctioning a loan and cheated him by not giving the sanctioned loan amount.

On 26/04/2007 at 2330 hrs accused Prabhakara stopped a car near Nikkilagudde Derebailu village Mangalore Taluk and abused the driver of the said car one Manoj in filthy language and assaulted him with sword owing personal enmity.
- A case under Criminal restraint along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 23/04/2007 at 1600 hrs accused Jagadeesh conductor of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AB-5335 criminally restrained one Sanjeeva (32) R/o Padnoor village Puttur Taluk at Siddakatte Sangabettu village Bantwal Taluk and abused him in filthy and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 26/04/2007 at 0400 hrs one Lakshmi (16) R/o Kodikal Mangalore Taluk attempted to commit suicide by pouring kerosene on herself owing to personal problem. She got serious burn injuries and was admitted to Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where she succumbed to her injuries while under treatment on the same day at 1830 hrs.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 26/04/2007 at 1815 hrs one Irin Lobo consumed pesticide in her house owing to health problem. Further she was admitted to KMC hospital at Mangalore where she declared dead while under treatment on 27/04/2007 at 0940 hrs.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 27/04/2007 at 1700 hrs one Shubhananda Sherigara R/o Mudayi Bakiyaru Naravi village Belthangady Taluk got seriously injuried due to heavy lightning. Further he was admitted to Naravi Primary health centre where he declared dead while under treatement.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 27/04/2007 at 1600 hrs one Sundara Poojary (60) R/o Noonuttu house Mudukodi village Belthangady Taluk committed suicide by consuming poison in his house owing to personal problem.

- A case of Girl missing has been registered in Vittal Police Station. One Priya (19) R/o Mangilapudu Vittal Town left her house on 26/04/2007 at 0800 hrs and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
