- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 14/04/2007 at 1930 hrs near K.P.T. Mangalore one unknown rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-4983 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Santhosh (20) R/o Hoovina Hadagali Ballari district a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 14/04/2007 at 1830 hrs on NH 13 at Suralpady Badagulipady Mangalore Taluk one Nemiraja driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AC-4559 drove his vehicle in rash and negligent manner and dashed against another bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-8163. As a result Victor Pinto (34) R/o Mooduperara village Mangalore Taluk, Dayananda, Premalatha, Koraga, Prashantha, Sundara, Vittal Shetty and Vaibhav who were traveling in the bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AC-4559 sustained grievous injuries and both the vehicles got damaged.

No. KA-19-3760 drove his in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-20-J-6088. As a result scooter rider one Venkatesh Kanaka (53) R/o Yelluru village Udupi district sustained simple injuries. The scooter also got damaged.

On 15/04/2007 at 1130 hrs at Uggabettu Bambila Kavalapadur village Bantwal Taluk one Vishwanatha driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-9101 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Dombayya a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. Further auto rickshaw driver lost control over his vehicle due which vehicle capsized. As a result Ajith (23) R/o Kavalapadur village Bantwal Taluk who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

No. KA-02-A-5742 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Maruti omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-02-A-5742. As a result Arunachala (32) R/o Kigga Shringeri and 08 other persons who were traveling in the Maruti omni and Goods Lorry sustained simple injuries.

On 14/04/2007 at 2230 hrs near Anugraha school at Ujire village Belthangady Taluk one Anil rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-S-9007 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which the motorcycle capsized. As a result motorcycle rider Anil sustained simple injuries and Raghavendra pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 12/04/2007 at 0400 hrs near Gudya check post Shiradi village one Areesh driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-09-B-1573 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which vehicle capsized. As a result one Iqbal (25) R/o Lalia village Ujire village a cleaner of said lorry sustained simple injuries. The lorry driver escaped from the place with his vehicle.

As a result motorcycle rider one Ganesh and pillion rider Harisha (27) R/o Kuriyala Panjikallu village Bantwal Taluk sustained simple injures.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. In between 12/04/2007 and 14/04/2007 one Vijaya D’ Souza (34) R/o Maniyampade Yenmakaje village committed suicide by consuming poison in his house owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 08/04/2007 at 1000 hrs one Poulin (60) R/o Baidarlagudde Naravi village attempted to commit suicide by pouring kerosene on herself owing to personal problem. She got serious burn injuries and was admitted to Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where she succumbed to her injuries while under treatment on 14/04/2007 at 1600 hrs.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 14/04/2007 at 1645 hrs one Prakash (18) R/o Padnur village Puttur Taluk while playing at Kodange Padnur village Puttur Taluk due to heavy lighting he got electrocuted and died.

- A case of Man missing has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. One Shivananda (30) R/o Chikkayya Mata Bantwla Town went to Baikampady Mangalore on 13/04/2007 at 0600 hrs and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
